    Agree to the extent that I'm glad he left Meatchicken. And took the DC. DL coach, DB coach (?), and S&C coach with him. Gives us a better shot at them in game #2. That's what I care about.

    The first game won't be over until about 4. They would start another one around 4:30-4:45 on Sunday? That seems odd enough, but isn't there a 72 hour rule (getting games in by 72 hours after the visiting team arrives)?

    Some of the guys at the bottom of the list would actually be better off as UDFA so they can pick their own spot. I'm thinking Priest Holmes back in the day.

    Tied for 10th with three Purdue picks ahead of me (picked UConn). Considering my history of March Madness picks, this is outstanding!

    Watts testing well. I thought his coverage vs Washington was good, but he never turned his head. He could have saved 2-3 long plays had hec just committed PI.

    Yeah, we will need him for run support against Mich, Ga, and Ky and anyone else to tries to stay between the tackles.

    My "other" favorite moment was when Ricky announced he was returning for his senior year. Just think of what we would have missed had he turned pro after the '97 season!

    The Rig 12 stuck it to us with officiating, scheduling, really any way they could. I am really glad that we are not ignoring that behavior like we did when aTm bailed on us, and blamed everything on us. I would like to see us avoid that conference at every available opportunity for as long as possible.

    This may be an off topic sidebar but when I saw Jaxon Smith-Ngiba torch Rockwall, it was the most impressive game I'd seen from a WR (I'm pretty old). The next week I saw Rakestraw shut him down, and I was dumbfounded as I really knew nothing about him.

    My takeaway from Whitt is "injuries can & do rob athleticism". The problem there is that it is next to impossible to predict where they strike. I didn't really see his frame as one that would necessarily be injury prone.

    I saw that DeBoer let go of several front office types at Bama. I wonder if we might bring in some of those folks - not any specific roles in mind, just in general. I've always been under the impression that they had more analysts than anyone else, and their results have sure been good.

    This is something I didn't expect to see. We have been hitting the deep south, California / Az, even a little NE, but Illinois was off my radar. This staff seems to work it all.

    Thank you for spelling his name correctly. It's a small thing, but I saw him correct someone who used "double L's".
