    I love trench recruiting. Told some of my buddies yesterday. ”I can’t ever remember a time where I have wanted every single OL, DL, and edge recruit taking an OV to commit to Texas.” It’s an unbelievable time to be a fan of Texas football. They are recruiting at a higher level than I’ve ever seen before and I include the Mack years because they are able to go nationally in a way that he never truly did.

    I don’t expect everyone to commit this weekend. It’s just who I really want out of this weekend. James Johnson and Lamar Brown are numbers busters for me at DT.

    Time to make some moves. There isn’t a kid visiting that I wouldn’t want to commit. These are all ballers that we have left visiting the next two weeks. Give me: Matthews Lott Rouse - need to make a huge move Griffin Cleveland - I want him and Guervil Ojo Roseborough Kent Our edge board is absolutely sick. Carlton, Kreul, Quinn, Wafle, Griffin, Wesley, Perry-Wright, Henderson, and Barnes. It’s a who’s who of BMF’s.

    LaAllen Clark needs to get paid asap cause he might be our best recruiter. Flood has quite the OL board this cycle but what Clark is doing in his first season at UT is incredible. It usually takes coaches at least a year to craft a board and develop relationships. This guy has hit the ground running as well as any coach I can remember ever has at UT.

    I think no matter what OU is screwed. If they let BB walk then they lose Fasusi and possibly a few other OL. If they don’t allow their new OC to bring his OL Coach he has always worked with and force BB on him then I think they are screwed. (If I was their new OC I wouldn’t have accepted the job if they told me I had zero say in who I work with. Especially if I had other options, which Utah was working to sign that guy) Either way they are screwed cause Venables ain’t the guy….i hope they sign him to another long extension that they can’t afford a buyout on.

    I bet you a&m returns to their old tricks down the stretch after Saturday. They are about flip a 5* WR from USC despite them being allergic to the art of the forward pass. They will open the pocket books for Fasusi, Rogers, and others down the stretch and in the portal.

    Hahahahaha imagine being a parent and allowing your kid to decommit from The number 2 team in the country to go play for a Coach that was almost fired and that has a 18-19 record after 3 years. You just have to laugh at the decision making or lack thereof.

    Will OTF hold any potential visitor news until later in the week if they feel like leaking the news could hurt the chances of these kids visiting? Oklahoma has 5 days to stop Fasusi from visiting. LSU has 4 days to stop Phillips from visiting.

    Fong dong just wrote in his Monday article that he likes where Auburn sits with Mbatchou. We ain’t getting this kid unless we pay up with Auburn and burnt brisket involved. I wish Auburn wasn’t involved because our record against for them in the last year hasn’t been good……at all.
