    I think no matter what OU is screwed. If they let BB walk then they lose Fasusi and possibly a few other OL. If they don’t allow their new OC to bring his OL Coach he has always worked with and force BB on him then I think they are screwed. (If I was their new OC I wouldn’t have accepted the job if they told me I had zero say in who I work with. Especially if I had other options, which Utah was working to sign that guy) Either way they are screwed cause Venables ain’t the guy….i hope they sign him to another long extension that they can’t afford a buyout on.

    I bet you a&m returns to their old tricks down the stretch after Saturday. They are about flip a 5* WR from USC despite them being allergic to the art of the forward pass. They will open the pocket books for Fasusi, Rogers, and others down the stretch and in the portal.

    Will OTF hold any potential visitor news until later in the week if they feel like leaking the news could hurt the chances of these kids visiting? Oklahoma has 5 days to stop Fasusi from visiting. LSU has 4 days to stop Phillips from visiting.

    Fong dong just wrote in his Monday article that he likes where Auburn sits with Mbatchou. We ain’t getting this kid unless we pay up with Auburn and burnt brisket involved. I wish Auburn wasn’t involved because our record against for them in the last year hasn’t been good……at all.

    I just hope Sark’s mind set has changed on DL recruiting. Gotta pay big money for these DL recruitments. Sharma and Charles point to yes on the mindset. Mbatchou, Mathis, Wynn, Terry, Sanders, Sims aren’t going to be recruitments we can win if we offer significantly less in NIL.

    Not the coaches but Guillory doesn’t excite me. Fodje, Fasusi, and Wilson would be the only guys that possibly interest me.

    Exactly and/or maybe just maybe it wouldn’t benefit anyone in burnt orange if it came out that he was talking to our staff. I don’t see any reason why the staff would want anyone to know about them talking right now. With these big time players, secrecy is the best medicine to try and get the flip completed. See Sims where him visiting has been broadcasted for weeks and a&m has been able to temporarily pause him from visiting.

    Nope it didn’t change at all. I expected 10-2 or 11-1. I think we are still headed for that l. Hopefully we can stay healthy and if so I expect us to be in the playoffs and seeded relatively high.

    Damn Oregon playing chess while everyone else plays checkers. I wonder how much NIL it cost them to cause a f’n hurricane just to delay some decisions to give them more time.
