Man he calls other hypocrites. This guy is so full of himself. He’s the biggest hypocrite with his bill to save college sports when he’s really just trying to save Tx Tech. Then he supports a lawsuit to allow his qb to bet that could have brought down the entire collegiate sports world. What a f’ing hypocrite.

I thought nil contracts couldn’t be “pay for play”. Seems like tech continues to operate as if there are no rules and then they blame the current system if they are caught by saying current system is the issue, not their thread to not follow existing rules.

With don't seem to put as much "value" on HS OL as other schools. I don't believe Sark wants to risk having a bunch of dead weight on OL. Doesn't seem to be the case at other positions. Here is what we are left with: OT: Swanson (note SMU will pay a lot to try to beat UT here), Camara (Oregon and SMU will pay a lot), Siler, Bertola (could also be a G - Battling USC, Cal - they probably have as a tier 1 recruit & BYU). Possibly go after DeMarrion Johnson, committed to Aggy given their OT class. Interior: Wood & Cook committed. Rhoa visits next week (battling Oregon $, UCLA, , etc.)

Last year’s class was pretty damn good. Difficult to tell who is really good at recruiting in the transactional day and age.

The same family in gilmer that adopted camara also was involved with helping (not sure if they adopted) another former longhorn.

Feel like there is a narrative that has started on this board that Camara is strictly looking for a payout and he’s another Ojo. I’ve seen interviews with Camara and read articles that give me a totally different vibe. In interviews I’ve seen with him he comes across as very mature and serious kid that has to deal with some very challenging life events (lost both parents). He just moved to the US as an exchange student a couple of years ago after losing both his parents in France. I believe he came over his soph year so he’s trying to make up 4 yrs of hs in 2 1/2 years. He’s trying to graduate by December. That requires him to take 6 summer school courses. The thought is he will not be able to balance recruiting visits in June with the required course load over the summer.

I would be pissed if UT had to play at those times. Legit complaint.

I thought that was always the deal with the big 10. We (sec) will go to a 9 game conf schedule of the playoffs we’re expamded to 16. Then it felt like the rug was pulled out from Sankey.

Cody Campbell is such a hypocrite. Putting tv commercials out their taking about saving college athletics, but then tries to circumvent ncaa gambling rules and the overall fabric of competitive sports. If the courts allow a gambling addict to participate in a team sport then Texas tech and Cody Campbell have done more to potentially hurt college athletics than anyone.

Don’t think the nfl with touch sorsby. Art Schichler was the poster child of a guy that had gambling issues and crashed and burned.

He didn’t bring up Texas Tech. Perhaps you should listen to the dialogue. A question came up on strength of schedule and playoff selections.

The integrity of the game is on the line if he’s allowed to play. It sets a bad precedent if he’s allowed to play as it has far reaching implications to professional and college sports. Given the number of games this Sorsby bet on he obviously has a gambling issue. I watched the Cincinnati game vs BYU last year. The guy made some bad interceptions. Makes me wonder if the guy had money on the game.

Maybe espn should spend some time focusing on the lack of control in the Georgia program before more people lose their lives. Pretty bad that the national media has just ignored that problem.
