  1. Both Murphy and Sweat will wreck shop...Murphy for a good 10 years...Sweat for 10 years IF he controls his weight...and when Sweat gets out of football, let's hope for his health he gets that weight way down. Both X and AD should do well in the NFL. X, ironically, will excel because of his sharp cutting abilities rather than his speed, even though it's exceptional. But that shart cutting gets him open on demand! JMO
  2. lol...he's a great prospect no doubt...but the "lol" is for his competition...
  3. Michael Terry plays the BAMF position in football. He can play RB, slot, WR, safety, nickel, CB, LB...I'd recruit him where he WANTS to be recruited at...then you never know where he wants to be when he gets here...I think WR is his best, but at safety he would be future All-Pro. JMO
  4. "leading" means nothing until signing day...Once these guys get a load of Arch, then they'll be fighting for spots on this offense
  5. HOOKEM
  6. or maybe his tear wasn't as bad as other tears...or...as an elite athlete he recovers better than non-elite athletes!
  7. The only thing Bohls knows about sports is that he knows nothing about sports. I would say he's a moron, but he's not even that high on the rung.
  8. He "gave the boot" to AL. lol
  9. I project Michael Terry to BAMF and he's gonna kill it wherever he lands. I like WR, but I bet he'd be ALL-WORLD at safety. JMO!
  10. OK...but who is Jacoby Matthews?
  11. Pandora's Box was opened as soon as you could portal. Then came NIL. And we're just at the beginning of the portal/NIL era. No telling what ghosts and goblins will be let loose as time goes by. A guess on my part is that the National Communists Against Athletics (NCAA) will attempt and fail to regain their "power." But I think TEXAS will benefit from all of this CHAOS.
  12. Bummer...NOW what will the Negative Nancies of Doom Gloom Agony of Defeat and Despair do with their time?
  13. we'll see...we just signed 5 DBs in the 2024 class...my guess is we'll go all in on whoever the staff feels is best...maybe we'll sign 3 for 2025 is my guess
  14. awesome
  15. I hope they go all in on Will Griffen. Of course, I'm sure they "Will." And, of course, AL, UGA, USC, Mich, tOSU, LSU, aTm, and a host of others will as well. That's 2026 I know...but Griffen is the best QB prospect out of all of them without regard to class.
  16. thanks for the info
  17. this guy has a very quick first step...somewhat reminicient of Byron Murphy...but this guy is very thick in spite of not being fat...
  18. Let's never make it obvious that we're running up the middle. Spread it out and make the defense guess what we're going to do.
  19. For me I rate Will Griffin #1 and if he's really coming here in March, then you have to believe Sark is offering. Truth is that the QB position for 2026 is really stacked and the "losers" in these recruitments are going to get quite the consolation prize.
  20. I definitely think he should keep playing football because it helps his overall athleticism. As Arnold Palmer said, learn to hit it far, then learn how to play golf. Young Surratt certainly hits it long already. He's got a good swing already as well. Or as another great player said...Johnny Miller..."any 'ol swing will do and then learn to chip and putt." The football workouts will certainly help as long as he's doing calisthenics and martial arts as his base workouts. Lifting weights IMO should be to SUPPLEMENT your workouts...weights should not be the ENTIRE workout. Good luck to the young man.
  21. 6'10"...sounds more like a dominant center in basketball...and at 14 he's still growing...that's somewhat scary...lol
  22. Looking forward to Gerry's eval. But if I was ranking, then 1) unseen video of Will Griffen...big, fast, can throw from the pocket AND on the run...wow he good 1.1) Rees Wise...his video, like W Griffen, doesn't even look like soph film...barring injury this guy and Griffen are going to be some wild recruitments 3) Franz Steyn...another really good prospect No offense to the others, but that's the way I personally see the top 3. I'll be interested in Gerry's take.
  23. damn...who's bigger, Langi or #77? 🤐
