he CAN? Seems like a good way to get injured. But that's just me. Where do I think he'll be taken? hmmmm...I don't have a good bead on that. I know that I've seen a good number of QBs in the NFL not as good as Quinn. But...I think the NFL is gravitating toward the 4 tool model: 1) throw from the pocket; 2) escape from the pocket; 3) throw on the run; 4) run. IOWs, the Mahomes model. Not all NFL QBs fit that model at THIS time, but certainly Jackson, Allen, and Burrow (to a lesser degree)...and I'm leaving some out. Arch is 4 tool. I think he has the Mahomes model, perhaps an even stronger arm. Barring injury, Arch is going to tear **** up next season.

Get well soon. I don't like predictions, but despite Klubnik being a great NFL prospect, he is going to be running for his life all game long. He'll make some plays, but he's going to get sacked AT LEAST 5 times. Not sure what that adds up to but I would say TEXAS scores 40+ and the TEXAS D will be the TEXAS D like they have all year long. Get well soon! I hate hospitals, especially ICU, ER, hospital rooms, and rehab centers. Like you, I spent Christmas time in the hospital 3 years ago. God bless you!

I said it first! lol Here's something else that needs to be said: The powers that be need to lock up PK for the foreseeable future. While this defense SEEMS to be an all-timer, the truth is that we might very well be better next year. We have AntHill back next year. We have MM back. While we may lose 2 safeties, their backups look awesome. Simmons is here next year. And a host of other pass rushers, including Burke, who I see as a player who is just getting better and better. LeFau is back. We were worried going into this year about the DT position. Well, PK took care of that...and will do it yet again. We just recruited 3 stud DTs and we have January waiting in the wings. On offense, we have Arch, and he doesn't give a damn about any 3 high safety looks. He's going to be great, barring injury, of course. I realize we lose a lot on the OL, but we've got some studs in waiting. Sark has done our program PROUD. HOOKEM.

Great post. I am surprised that no one has replied. While we lost, the close loss tells us how close we really are. Of course we are disappointed, but this season has only just began! When you lose and it's so close, then the tendency is to try harder. We're going to do that.
