    So now Tech is going to sue, or threaten to sue, other teams to play them. That's like admitting your kid is so ugly you have to hang a pork chop around her neck to get the dog to play with her. Tech's self-ownership just shows they were never ready for the big time.

    There have always been schools in backwater locations that can get away with more than the blue bloods because the media lights are brighter for Notre Dame, Texas, USC, etc. No one really gave a crap about what's happening in Lubbock, so they thought they could get away with whatever it took to win and no one would notice, or they'd forget quickly. Now they're squirming in the national spotlight and can't figure out how to turn it off. Tom Brady was right in calling them a glorified community college. Their response has been just that. Just F them.

    It's in Tech's power to bench him permanently and/or let him get on to the supplemental draft. There's nothing stopping them from doing the right thing for the integrity of the sport, other than their own desire to win at all costs. If they allow Sorsby to play, they endorse gambling in college sports (as long as you go to rehab when caught and pinky promise never to do it again. Honest. This time.) Tech should get the death penalty for even challenging the all-sport rule of integrity and gambling. It's not out of their hands. They want their $6 million quarterback but just don't want to take the blame for it. Pathetic.

    I have enjoyed some of Brook's film breakouts, but it seems like he's trying to build his franchise these days and gets a little ahead of his skis sometimes while trying to run with the herd. He butchered our roster recently, demonstrating only a cursory knowledge. Then he jumps in with the Tech WWE takes ignoring the facts. Now he thinks Sark is on the hot seat... for clicks. In the end, if you want to build a national brand, the go-to move is crank out outrageous takes and lots of 'em.

    Meyer is not a gracious guy. Very full of himself. Gives Sark some backhanded compliments, but adds, "Who couldn't win at Texas or USC?" Well, Urban, we've seen our share of those who couldn't, but Sark rebuilt UT in three years if getting to the CFP is a measure. We dodged a bullet with Urban (Team isn't performing well -- I'm having sudden health issues) Meyer.

    Absolutely. They'd also accepted a $300M deal for a dedicated ESPN channel. Every school acts in its own best interests. It's a thankless job to prop up the Baylors, Iowa States, Texas Techs, etc. Good luck on your own in the real world, Big 12.
