  1. Alabama cant even beat Oklahoma at home. Get these frauds out of the playoff. FSU got throttled by Florida too
  2. In what world should Texas ve behind Alabama? Truly
  3. Imagine going 6-1 down the stretch with 3 top 10 wins and only losing to THIS Georgia team on the ROAD AT NIGHT and being left out of the playoff because you lost to the #1 team in the country by 7 ON THE ROAD in the first game of the season.
  4. This probably means Bama is in no matter what, but...if they get a 3rd loss and they are left out, it would only be for another SEC team IMO. Sankey would burn it all to the ground if the SEC runner up was left out for the 3rd place ACC team.
  5. Can anyone explain to me how Miami gets help from BYU winning (a universally accepted fact by the media), but teams Texas actually played looking like world beaters doesnt help Texas or at the very least warrant a comment???
  6. If the committee followed their own standards, with BYU out of the picture, it is clear Texas is the best and most deserving resume compared to Miami and ND. Yet we get 0 mention on any discussion.
  7. Tech should send Texas and OU a gift basket for leaving the conference.
  8. Don't forget this Texas Tech team lost to ASU who is unranked and lost to Miss St. They are not a great team.
  9. I dont see a world where they leave Alabama out. Even if they did, Miami and ND would be in and we'd be left out.
  10. Because the big 12 is that bad and they played 3 bottom feeders in non conference
  11. Texas Tech is going to be exposed by Oregon provided they stay at 4. This is not a top 4 team.
  12. BYU is the perfect example of why we dont rank teams off record.
  13. Who takes the crown for the biggest hater? Tim Brando or Booger McFarland? Both are on generational hate runs.
  14. We've moved into position behind BYU in odds...the one in keeping an eye on is Notre Dame. Texas has a great argument to be in over notre dame and that would send the biggest message to not schedule cupcakes
  15. I don't disagree with you saying thats the reason. I think thats probably their rationale as well. I'm just critiquing that rationale as hypocritical given where Alabama is ranked and the supposed "criteria" they set for themselves.
  16. I dont recall that being primary criteria for the committee. There are teams ahead of Texas (Alabama) where that is not the case. Head to head and strength of schedule are the primary criteria by which they are supposed to grade.
  17. Replace Ohio St with Rutgers next year and get that vaunted Big 10 non-conference win.
  18. Texas has a better resume than Alabama minus the Ohio St game. Case in point is Alabama. Don't schedule Ohio st and you clear Alabama's playoff resume.
  19. With a 9 game SEC schedule, we will get plenty of big matchups. Get the big 12 and ACC on the phone or schedule cellar dwellers from the Big 10.
  20. The committee and national pundits are telling you with a straight face its better to beat Florida and lose to OU than the other way around. Absurd.
  21. Not to mention Vanderbilt plays Tennessee and Georgia Tech plays Georgia next week. Both of those are likely losses. It comes down to Alabama or OU losing next week, and Oregon beating USC today. Then theres an argument to be made, but having BYU and Miami drop another game would all but guarantee it. A lot needs to happen but its way more likely than CJ's tweet makes it seem.
  22. Wildcard that could really help is Alabama next week vs Auburn. I think CJ's take is too negative as it doesnt account for next week and we probably jump Utah and maybe Miami with a win over A&M (which would be the 3rd top 10). Really need Oregon to win this week to keep hope alive for a 9-3 Texas.
  23. We are the Penn St of the SEC. Sark is our James Franklin.
  24. 9-3 Texas would need some major help now
  25. We need OU and USC to lose to help this scenario.
