  1. Just starting watching Coffee and Football, when I saw the store was up I rushed over and bought a hat. Cannot wait to wear it around town.
  2. In your opinion, how many of the recent commitments will not go pro and actually make to campus?
  3. Thanks. I am watching BC/FSU on YouTune on my TV and Talkin’Ball on my IPad.
  4. I have Directv and I am watching LSU/USC on ABC but my ESPN channels are blocked.
  5. Justin Wells in an On3 video said that Samples was telling Barnes that UT would miss use him and he would be wasting his talent with the Longhorns.
  6. QBs on offense with the communication is expected so I assume all three QBs will be connected. However, defense is different. How many defensive players can be connected? Can they be on the field at the same time? If not, when Hill is on the sidelines, will they use the old system of signaling in defenses?
  7. This is a better question than I think many understand. Dad was a very good player for aggy. Not an all time great but very good and did play at the next level for a short time. With that being said, Jr could have stayed committed and after he is drafted in the first round just gone pro. Why does he decommit? Was it that Schloss left? Did he feel betrayed? Or did he realize that aggys are weird and cult like?
  8. Lane who is the son of the former a&m RB decommited recently. He is a catcher and one of the top HS baseball players in the nation. His stats, listed in the article are out if this world. Will he follow Adrian Rodriquez and commit to UT? https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/dfwvarsity/article291450920.html
  9. Triple H was/is one hell of a performer. Degeneration X was always fun to watch.
  10. As someone said, he was not great in college. Of course, he did miss almost all of his rookie season. I wonder how he spent that time away from playing. Did he watch film and study the playbook? How hard did he rehab? I am not ready to write him off but usually other players are not his brutal towards a fellow player, especially one so young.
  11. A UT scrimmage, the Astros vs Red Sox, and the Cowboy’s first pre-seasn game tomorrow. Life doesn’t get much better than this.
  12. Everyone is entitled to their own choices. It is a shame he chose so badly.
  13. I like the Braves, except when the Astros play them in the WS.
  14. I am sure the board is fairly evenly split between the two teams but I have been an Astro fan since the late 60s. I saw Willie Mays hit a HR in the Dome, Larry Dierker pitch a shutout while the Dome’s roof leaked, and Cesar Cedeno make spectacular catches in the outfield. I remember lying still in bed listening to the Astros on my transistor radio and not moving for fear of breaking the mojo the team had going that night. Great memories.
  15. Horrible news for the kid. I hope he is able to recover fully.
  16. I agree. Considering the purgatory that UT football has been stuck over the last decade plus, the fact that we are discussing upwards of 50+ players on the current roster being on possible NFL rosters is amazing. Once again, very good work by the OP.
  17. Great input. Thanks
  18. I am confident that Sark will be able to dial up some short passes and quick releases for Quinn.
  19. Always sad when a young athlete is injured and forced to miss the season.
  20. Thanks for the info. Since Schloss is at UT and not at A&M, I would assume that favors us.
  21. While your statement may be correct, it really doesn’t matter. What matters is who is getting significant snaps during crunch rime of big games (Mich, Georgia, OU, a&m).
  22. That is very interesting. I would think that graduating early, playing baseball, and participating in Spring football practice would favor Texas. Schloss being here gives us a leg up, IMO.
  23. Thanks for the updates and looking forward to many, many more today.
  24. Unfortunately, I am only able to make it to Austin to see one or two games a year so I can understand the season ticket holders being upset with this schedule. However, much like SEC football teams, maybe he is trying to get some wins to pad the team’s resume before the tournament.
