    Ok with only two teams left, is DL recruiting done? I can't see OSU or ND kids jumping in the portal? Not sure we will see Penn St. Kids jumping in? So who is left? Spring? If a coach leaves or is fired can a kid jump in? It's about time for coaches to be moving.

    If the Texas team that has showed up the last 3 games and the OSU team that played the last two games Texas will lose 31-20. If Quinn plays his best game of the year, and the defense can put pressure on the QB/sack him Texas can win 31-28.

    How much does recruiting burn you out. If it becomes painful, then he could easily go to the NFL. If he like doing it he will stay at Texas.

    I get that, but doesn't seem to be a priority. I think he has good hands so it's either bad route running, or learning the playbook.

    Wasn't that bad of a shot. Come on, 6 mil? We are all thinking the same thing. Is there any college kid worth 6 mil? But, if Washington is the best landing spot for J. Cook, then he should do some soul searching.

    Interesting, no SEC officials in this game and no holding penalties on Texas? Wow the coaches must have really worked hard with Texas players not to hold in this game. Let's hope we don't see any more SEC officials the rest of the playoffs.

    Seems like bigger ranked guys went to other schools Oregon, Miami, USC and TT? Just a question here. How is this big game hunting for DL? Under 300 lbs? The portal timing sucks, how many guys can you meet with when your in the playoffs? How many guys are still playing in the playoffs have not entered. Every kid knows Texas will need DL next year, but haven't seen a lot of movement for big time kids not in the playoffs that would want to move to Austin? Let's hope there is a Bill Norton out there and Lula (spell).

    Curious, so if Texas would have signed him last year do y'all think he would have been a bust? I watched 3 USC games this year and he played really well. I don't think Texas will go after him because they need a speed guy, plus he would probably cost to much. But, 4th and 5 on the GL 6'6"???

    I think you're 100% correct, but as it goes with DL, the 3 guys they brought in last year were not big time guys, and only 2 saw the field. I think K. Baker did a great job to develop both guys into really good players. Texas wants 300+ pound guys and they don't have a lot of them in the portal right now? Now Lala (spell) had a good Jr. Year, ok Sr. Year before coming to TX. Was Norton a reach? I'm not sure?

    So some in the chat doesn't like when someone has thought about a kid. I thought this is what it is for, to have back in fourth discussions. It's called opinions, and even if you think the person is stupid, some others may not. Plus, it not like Texas coach's have not been wrong with a few kids they have brought in from the portal. There's a lot of different aspects to kids in the portal that a lot of us don't know or understand, and that is why questions are asked. JMO

    I really hope the DL group of kids gets much better, so far a bit thin.

    The biggest issue is that the time fo.r a one year kid to learn Sark offense would make it hard for Texas.

    Not sure a LB is needed. As for the DL you're going to have Mitchell get his crap together and January will play a bunch. Also will need plays from Hills and both Freshman. That 5 so at worst you must get 2 big time guys and 1 roll player? I'm hoping Nebits with his speed get a real shot next year. So you know who two starters will be. If Golden comes back he will be the 3rd starter. Can one of the two red shirt WR take that next step? New kids may find the field. OL should be good. Still think Williams comes back, so all should be fine. RB no clue DB I don't think they have to grab a kid, but if there is a big time kid, sure.
