With the A&M game looming... I thought this would be an appropriate time to get some good ol wishes in. I've been scouring social media of a few major players on schools with major coaching changes... and I'm seeing some Longhorns of note in the comments section. I'm also seeing a lot of those particular players on those same Longhorns posts. I also see the players teammates indicating that they seem to be a bit nervous.. like its possible they may leave! Drop who you want in the portal here. I got a major name... but I'm waiting to see who's on the same page. π€πΏπ₯π₯π₯

Vote for Derrek Cooper for the CBS Miami Nat Moore Trophy

After selecting you choice, what did you do next, just leave the page? -
Make it the last time, Sark. F what they talking about. We are ungrateful here. Texas was the envy of the cfb world 4 months ago. We haven't had a real shot at such lofty expectations that could be validated until he showed up. Who's better for us... RIGHT NOW... out there? Wtf wants to follow Sark and wth he's done at TEXAS in the last 5 years? Ya'll forgot how bad Herman and LongFinger were? Crazy asf! I said it last year with the π©ing on Quinn... while he lost his security blanket, all world RB, 3 NFL starting calibur receivers, and a NFL starting calibur TE. We're young. Wingo is a shining example of exactly what's wrong. He knows the responsibility he's supposed to carry in this offense. He understands what's expected of him. Everyone back home has been telling co-workers and friends he's about to blow... and he's pressing and crumbling under the weight of expectations, instead of playing the game he loves, with love, passion, and pure unadulterated joy. Hard to do with all these grown ass fans and social media scrutinizing your every move. They will be better from this.. as a whole. Yes, anytime things don't go as planned, changes are needed and evaluations will be had, but Coach Stout used to tell us.. nothing is as good as it seems.. when we won.. and nothing is as bad as it seems... when we lost. It was what we did with the next opportunity... that was all that mattered. π€πΏ

Kirby was on the attack in post game PC
817 Boxing B replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
PREACH!! We all saw Colin Simmons get held multiple times and no flag. Refs don't wanna face Kirby after flagging his team. We can see the π© every week.. CBS and ABC do a good job of focusing on his smug ass every game. This is cool.. I'm good with the bulletin board material. Alabama whooped their asses for a good while..then they got tired of it. These comments he made... should be the gunpowder in the dog food for this group. I think we'll get what we all want in 2026... but maybe, just maybe, they'll surprise us and fight like hell these next 2 weeks...? Either way... keep it up, Kirby... -
Kirby was on the attack in post game PC
817 Boxing B replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Kirby is going to get his. This is what Texas needs. Georgia took multiple ass whoopings from Bama until they got sick and tired of it. After these 3 beatings... and however this team finishes, we will see the real CULTURE in 2026. I think you'll have a bunch of "kids" that will be motivated to kick ass. I like it... keep it up. When it comes around... we will rub his nose in it. -
I'm seeing reports of former Longhorn DB Kris Boyd having been shot in New York. It's my understanding he was in critical condition in the latest report. Let's band together and help in any way we can. Pray for his family...and for him to pull through.π€πΏβ€οΈ

A personal note from me to the OTF communityβ¦

The greatest value in this community is how we come together when the orange horn signal goes up for help!! Even in times like these, the human spirit and love for each other is undeniable. π€πΏ and we all pray he continues on a healthy path. -
Kyle Flood has got to go
817 Boxing B replied to Burt Reynolds Jr's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I agree.. but I don't think Kyle Flood or anyone on that staff is above reproach. All of the individuals are accepting of criticism and that's evident by the results we've attained as a team, whether it be wins or drafted talent in the NFL. Even those that were picked up as free agents are a sign of the development process here at Texas. Again... it kinda reminds me of a high school team. We always had 1 big non district game that we looked at over the summer, and by the time district started, we had an idea of what we wanted to get done and who would do what. Sark's team is young and a lot of these guys are learning what it takes. We just have to be patient and enjoy this process. -

Who is flawless? Show me.... -
I said this in an earlier post but it's awesome that this article is available. If this is the worst we'll see, we're good. Lagway is an immense talent himself, and he threw 5 ints last week. People are ready to give up on him are sadly mistaken, too. These are young quarterbacks in the NIL era... and we're talking maybe as big of a group of talents at that position than there has been in awhile. All of these guys feel the pressures to perform for major fan bases, and with the NIL element involved, things are magnified and think about it, who do you go to for advice on how to navigate it, or even how to perform under such conditions? Chill Horns... Arch will be OK.

For the life of me... I'll never understand why won't DB's whip their head around when trailing a WR. DB's always panic when they get beat and just try to catch up and hit the WR, never finding the football. Hell, Gilbeaux possibly could've batted it down or intercepted it had he got his head around. I think we see Kobe Black or Kade Phillips take that job by season's end. Just a hunch... but I've never been confident in him out there.

OTF Premium Thoughts on Arch Manning
817 Boxing B replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
He gave up on it for sure. -
We lamented at the fact that on 4th down.. or on the goal line, if we had CJ Baxter... we beat Ohio St. We'll DAMMIT SARK...!!! Why not hand it to him when he just made 3 or 4 yards out of none the previous play!!!? Wtf did he work sooooo hard for to look as good as he did, and you NOT give him the football? Arch hesitates.. doesn't get behind the initial push.. and gets stoned. Ironically, Sayin got put in the same situation, different spot on the field... and he properly excutes the sneak, getting behind his lineman on the SNAP OF THE BALL... WHICH HE HAD CONTROL OF!! Arch pissed it down his leg, and the penalties.. can't have em on the road. Definitely encouraged by the run game, but Sark needs to get his head out of his π... there's too much talent here to call a game like that. Don't care if we win by 100 every game for the next 3 weeks... wake me when we go to the Swamp.

Just wanted to show Quinn some love since he got crapped on for his first preseason action. He will continue to get stronger and better with his lower half and his anticipation is already good.... nothing but good things for him ahead. Even if McDaniel gets fired, tape like this will get him looks anywhere π€πΏπͺπΎπ₯ https://youtu.be/PB4wvOXEp7k?si=Hd_zFgRSTgmM8EzB

Just wanted to give an update..... LIGHT THE TOWER!!! 2025-26 NATIONAL CHAMPS!!! 44-12 Arch was unbelievable. 41-49 for 376 and 3 tds...1 int. Ceddy had 16 for 90 and 2 tds and Wingo led the bunch with 9 for 102. Lockett had 2tds.. French had 1... and Simmons had 3 sacks and a safety! Klubnik only threw for 160 with 2 ints!! Now... can we keep Arch in the fold.. or is KJ Lacy going to take the reigns??!

To stop your main guys from transferring, you have to hit certain markers on offense or defense for each player. So for Colin, we have to dominate as a defense and not allow certain things.. all while getting them reps and results... with sacks. Pretty much with Sark and the staff go thru...π€£π€£π€£π€¦πΏββοΈ

Make sure you take the penalty down to 0% or 1% to get the proper progression points for your players. The CPU disarms your ability to properly progression them by default if auto progress players isn't on, which of course we all want off. This is a very important factor in your ability to maintain and sustain success and actually see your recruits get developed. Thank me later... πͺπΎπ€πΏ

I agree.. boom or bust... mostly bust on traditional run game. Patches will be coming.

Checking in to ask my OTF family.. where are we in our dynasties with Texas on the new edition of EA Sports College Football '26? I already have 2 5 stars signed in my 1st class and we're 5-0! Blew out Ohio State 38-14... and have given up a total of 22 points in the last 3 games.. including a 38-6 massacre of the Gators in the Swamp! It's Red River Rivalry Week for me.... so you know it UP!!! This game does nothing but make the anticipation of the season almost unbearable! π€£π€£π€πΏ

Quinn Ewers Impressing at Dolphins Camp
817 Boxing B replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Bro.. I told everyone Quinn took way too much heat... Sheduer as well. Those 2 had the biggest expectations and stood in the π₯, week in and week out, and delivered. They were 2 of the 4 guys that are franchise qb worthy in this past draft, including Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart. -
