  1. Seeing as though he never got developed here, it was expected. You don't get time to develop about 98% of the time in the NFL. Ask Anthony Richardson. The Colts signed Daniel freaking Jones to a 2 year, 14 million dollar deal. That's not backup bread....🤷🏿‍♂️
  2. Cedar had a good NFL career imo. He had so many carries between high school and college that we couldn't really expect more than what he did... and that was alot, if you really look at it.
  3. Willing to coach Onomatopoeia St... -Brennan Marion
  4. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard from a coach. Truly an example of "Making America Great" again. Bro, Tik Tok is the furthest thing from anybodies mind when the ball is kicked off. You don't lose games because guys danced on Tik Tok. Can they dance on Instagram from the locker room? After a win, they sing the fight song... and leave. Sure sounds like a place the kids in 2025 wanna be. How much money are they offering again for me NOT to have fun in this millennium? Ban what you don't understand is typical of old ass people who don't like change unless it's back to what's comfy for them. Stupid rule and it's a distraction... something that he thinks establishes culture, but is actually a recruiting deterrent, imo. There's a million ways to implement discipline in your program without being a deterrent or detriment to your program. Imagine Arch getting his 🍑 hammered (pause🤣) by Sark after his TD celebration... because we wanna promote a "tough" image and culture...?! 🤦🏿‍♂️🤣🤘🏿
  5. 15 wins over AP Top 25 teams.... and he's about to get shown the door. This is the bougiest barbecue spot in the world..🤣🫡🤘🏿
  6. Great post but what a game!! Heart was in my throat!! The Horns found every way to give the game back to the Bulldogs, and they damn near did. Tre has to be more consistent on the defensive end. The way to the floor in the NBA starts on the defensive end and right now, he is widely inconsistent. The physicality of the SEC is too much for thsi year's team. The lack of strong handle by the PG position and poor contact balance really shows up in conference play. Nobody can really play through contact on this team. Too often do I see Horns lose the ball or hitting the floor on contact. Gotta be maddening for RT to watch them melt down and then make the decision to fight or give up every single game. Anyways.. keep up the good work and this bubble life has my stomach... bubbling...💩🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏿‍♂️🤘🏿🫡
  7. Great minds think alike...4.4 will be a death nail though. He needs 4.3 something along with the tape to get an honest look, IMO...🫡🤘🏿
  8. I'm going 4.37 and he will high jump 38 1/2. The route running and hands are going to be a major bonus. He, along with Helm and Golden, are the guys who went and got footballs for Quinn. Not much tape... but all of his tape is playmaking tape. Whether it's catches, returns, or hustle plays... they all were game winning plays... chain movers. He's going to find a spot on someone's roster and if he doesn't, it would be a travesty.
  9. Guys.. I don't know about you, but my main man Silas Bolden has to be on somebody's roster. Pro Day is monumental for him, in my opinion. Call your shot.. what does he run in the 40? Will he make a catch or 2 for Quinn that will catch the eyes of the numerous scouts that will be in attendance? His heart and explosiveness definitely could be used in today's NFL, especially with the dynamic kickoff rules. Any other Horns that need a big pro day to be a late day 3 pick or be a priority UDFA? Thoughts?
  10. This reads like we're chilling, chopping it up about the Horns. Really appreciate the thought and time you take articulating things. It's refreshing and yet another sign that Bobby and the OTF gang are the best in the business. 🤘🏿🫡
  11. What I'm saying is... the plan was NEVER to support RT. Remember, he got his contract so late, he didn't get a chance to recruit early, being interim. He was doomed from start, and they knew that. He did too! That's why I said he gets no tears from me. He knew it was a short term job. You can't convince me either one of these teams he's fielded have been immensely talented, and Beard's holdovers were the same guys we wanted to transfer. This was never a RT lead our program type of deal. This was a band-aid deal. The Elite 8 run and the guys on that squad advocating for RT put CDC and the gang between a rock and a hard place. Face a mutiny, or give this dude a short deal until we can find someone we really want to lead this program.
  12. Sark didn't have to convince ANYONE that Colin Simmons was other worldly, my guy. It's not what he spent NIL on, it's what he had to buy with what was given!!! There is no equivication in the commitment to UT football and baseball and the basketball program. None. Ever. In the history of this program, PERIOD! When RT gets fired, I think, for the first time, Texas will make a big name hire and actually allocate the proper resources to recruit and produce teams that can score 80-100 points a game, with elite athletes. Too many good players in this state and across the nation for them not to. You can't convince me Texas is serious about basketball and BYU getting the #1 player. I seen this same NIL/Board of Regents go get Justus Terry. Can't sell me that RT saw Kaluma and said..yep.. thats all we need with Sheddrick. 🤷🏿‍♂️🤘🏿
  13. Again...RJ coached TJ Ford... i think he knows a pg when he sees one.
  14. Maybe RT doesn't decide who gets what...? Then football program has a GM...juss saying.
  15. That isn't a coaches duties. You see the football team has a GM....right? Commitment to the program..is the question. That's how you get commits.
  16. Ron Holland going pro didn't help, either. I also believe he wasn't able to recruit the 1st year due to the uncertainty of his hiring after the season and not establishing he was going to be the guy. Any recruit that was out there was already locked in with other coaches by then. So.. in all honesty, how much effective recruiting could he be expected to do?
  17. Not good but the man has been coaching basketball damn near as long as I've been living. RT has a bunch of players, but not a team, and it's a reflection of the NIL/Transfer portal era. Sometimes you can't just shop at different stores and put an outfit together.
  18. I'm sure CDC is a bit too accomplished to help a man pack his belongings.
  19. Those players told us who coached them. Go back and listen.
  20. Beard wasn't in those trenches with those guys. When they did pressers, it was all about RT and the job he was doing. It's been awhile though... people forget when it's not going well. No pity party here.. it is what it is. Just funny no one acknowledges the lack of commitment to men's basketball when it comes to acquiring talent. BYU figured it out before us.. and it's just shocking to me after knowing the deficient post play we had on deck... they did little to nothing. Just smells like a lame duck/give him low grade ingredients and expect a 5 star meal type deal, as far as expectations...when in all actuality, he was a band-aid moreso than the guy you really wanted to give the keys to.
  21. Piss poor coaching with an Elite 8 on his resume....🤷🏿‍♂️. Wait.. I guess that was Beard's success...??!
  22. Motivated donors donate... it doesn't take a coach pep talk. They donate because they want to see the school be successful. You think Michigan is donating and spending NIL like they are from a Sherrone Moore pep talk?
  23. What recruit is looking to head to UTEP or Fresno? Maybe you stumble upon a Kawhi Leonard, but it wasn't like they had a budget or setup to compete on a major level.
  24. Sheddrick and Kaluma have been ass cheeks in the paint. Onyema is a foul machine and Kent is limited athletically. Larry should've started at PG all season... but a more effective paint presence was paramount and the people who make decisions left RT flapping in the wind. We knew all off-season they needed help in the paint.
