  1. A selfish reciever isn't scary or fearful for anyone but the team that employs him. At any moment, he can leave you hanging, example being this past season. He left Quinn hanging many a time... not attacking the football, being lazy in routes and effort, etc. He needs to move on and Lockett, Terry, and McCutcheon will more than fill his shoes. We also have the kids that redshirted last year, Livingston and Butler. These Alabama one year rentals haven't panned out so well. Of course I hope NiBlack stays, but it wouldn't surprise me if he left, too.
  2. Who gives a damn if they know... run Arch 4 times .. QB sneak...bring Jake out.. go with Neto. No way we run a toss after getting 2 PI's to get within a yard. 2 years.. 2 red zone πŸ’©'s...πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ. I'm devastated.🀘🏿

  3. What does it take to accomplish "the impossible"....? Belief!!!! We also need the entirety of Longhorn Nation to show up and show out. I also think Sark would be wise to have every 05 member touch the team in some way this week. Bring the rings out. FaceTime some OG's with film, leave no stone unturned. McConaughey... get ya MOJO going... VY.... swag em out..... B Rob... get that D line lathered up... T Sweat... turn em up a lil bit... WE NEED IT ALL! I'M FIRED UP... Underdogs??? Show em how big we do it, fellas!! 🀘🏿🀘🏿🀘🏿πŸ”₯🫑
  4. Sark isn't leaving. Saban and Carroll are his mentors. Did that...seen what it can be..good and bad. Look where he came back to, where he actually had to step down to come up. He was the OC for a Superbowl runner up...and left to be a special assistant to Nick.πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€˜πŸΏ
  5. Media being Media. Same as the Quinn Ewers portal watch.πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€˜πŸΏ
  6. Simon is more ready than Stewart. Ricky needs to gain weight and get stronger...per Coach Choice. I see Tre, Jerrick and James being the healthy 3, with Baxter and Clark tryna get healthy. I see Jaydon transferring, hate to say it. He already flirted with it once, and I don't see him going pro or coming back and being a backup or a rotation guy, again.
  7. I think the benefit of any running game helps him immensely. If you take Quinn, follow the Micheal Penix blueprint. He doesn't need to be the guy or without a solid veteran to sit behind. He has to mature more physically and grow into a locker room and the NFL is a hard place to do that in.
  8. The talent that "is" in the Big 12 had a major head start on Colorado in regards to infrastructure and roster building, and even with all that, they where 1 game away from playing for a Big 12 title, something we only did our 1st and last year in that league.
  9. Boy...if that ain't the truth!
  10. And in the same breath, you will defend Texas' schedule this year in the SEC. People could say the same things about us not facing any major threats besides Georgia, and we lost both games. Georgia looked like cheeks most of the season and only played well in spurts... so what's are you saying? Make excuses for how much your hate has no baseline, but then ostracized a 21 year old behind a play in a game and his explanation of it. If you ask any of the other coaches in the SEC about Texas' schedule and seeding on the playoffs, they'll scream conspiracy. Coach Prime and the gang have had an amazing year and exceeded any expectations of them. Sheduer had a great 2 years of D-1, proving many of you wrong, and will be a 1st round pick.
  11. This is why I had him listed at the top. He has all the tools and the look. Being at Penn St., James Franklin gets all the heat.
  12. It's funny how when it's a guy people don't like, they always point to character, but Brett Farve and Aaron Rodgers get passes. Tom was just passionate. I could go on and on. Jaxson Dart had a way worse meltdown... Caleb Williams, hell Carson Beck. Funny how the Big 12 is crap now....but before he got there, the Big 12 was too tough for him to be successful in. Now that he's performed at a high level, now it's trash. ASU just took us to the wire... and they won the Big 12, like we did last year. I get it. Hate what you don't understand, but that kid and Travis give up their NIL for teammates. Also does a lot of work with kids that doesn't get publicity. I wonder if you felt the same way about Jay Cutler. Juss saying.
  13. I think you have Sheduer pegged wrong. Being the NFL rich son doesn't lend you to being liked and he was heavily shaded during his high school career and recruitment. When he played well before, it was because it was "lesser" competition. Moved to the big 12 at a desolate Colorado, with no o-line, and took more sacks than anyone, but look at the numbers. In that year?, his stats were on par with Beck and Ewers as tops in college football. Imagine if he had the benefit of a Texas or Georgia O line...? Then this year, heisman reciever, and a 9-4 season. Johnny U award. Look, I know you don't like him or his father, or their social media presence, or the swag, but honestly, you're not supposed to. That's ok. To denigrate the young man who's overcome a different type of adversity that you can't wrap your head around and understand is really alarming and near sighted. #2 made amazing plays the last 2 years at Colorado, no denying that.
  14. Vincent Young didn't do too bad, but we all expected way more. Interesting, but I'm on board with it. Good take.
  15. Alright Horns family...write it in blood. In 5 years, gimme a redraft of the qb's out of this class coming up. 1. Drew Ailar 2. Cam Ward 3. Jaxson Dart 4. Sheduer Sanders 5. Quinn Ewers 🀘🏿
  16. Bond no call was ridiculous! The guy made no effort to get to the football and launched himself upward towards Bond's head. That call, more than any other, had me believe that we were about to lose. The gang fought tooth and nail and earned a huge win, no thanks to the officials. The Skatteboo push off with Taffe was obvious, but it was also obvious that there was a narrative and story being sold to add some flair to the CFP. It's almost as if they felt sorry for Lil ol' ASU for having to go up against the corporate conglomerate in Texas. I guarantee you this next week will be a smorgasbord of Texas doesn't belong, they got a gift, and OSU will wipe the floor with us. Screw Yormark, can't wait to hear Bobby roast his ignorant ass. We won the Big 12 title 2 years in a row, cry about it. Keep doubting us. Keep hating on us. I like it....bring it on... give the guys something to focus on and be angry about. Let's show em how big we do it in Texas!! 🀘🏿
  17. To everyone who has become a part of this community... no matter what differences we have, we all share a love for the University of Texas. Through that, we truly have built a culture that we can be proud of. It's not always smooth, families have fights, but we stick together. Let's keep the good times rolling into 2025. Thanks Bobby, Gerry, Blake, CJ, Rod B., Big Stevie, Coach Shipley, Matt and everyone that works hard to allow us to have a place to call home. Happy New Year!
  18. Is Kaiden Finley more like his father or are we looking at Duce 2.0?
  19. ASU probably couldn't pony up that type of money and Georgia probably wouldn't, and there's not much of a chance of his brother seeing the field there, imo. UNC wouldn't be the spot, too west coast to go from Lincoln Riley to Bill Belichek if you ask me. Tennessee has opportunities for Zach, maybe not so much his brother, and is it a better bet that Nico progresses or Arch? Josh Heupels' offense compared to Sark? Why would Squirrel White and Mike Matthews leave if that was the spot for him to be featured? The only issue with Texas is that his brother isn't beating out any safety we have that won't transfer after the season ends. So... the million dollar question is still... where do they go??!
  20. Listen.. is it me, or is Zachariah not signing with anybody a big signal as to his interest on playing for one of these playoff teams? That leaves us, Georgia and maybe Oregon as possible landing spots, unless Arizona St does the unthinkable. Regardless, he would be dynamite in the icy whites, imo. Thoughts?
  21. Holden Staes is in the portal now..... juss saying.
  22. 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 I know all of my fellow Longhorn family enjoyed watching Oklahoma lose to Navy. Please, let this be the place we can all return to and revel in their misery. Anything decent but derogatory about OU and their fans should be posted here. Let's mark this day in infamy and glory and make it a new Longhorn holiday. Venablabble won't survive this, I think he's about to step down or be fired. 2 outta 3 years, 6-7 and 25+ players, many 4 star players, in the portal. That's culture for you right there...🀘🏿🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ #BurnBabyBurn!!
  23. Felt so good to see my city represent!!! Coach Gates deserves a lot of credit for bringing the community together and giving the good folks in S.Ft Worth something to be proud of...
