    Not an insider, but I feel like the Texas staff is getting called by agents saying "a lot of upheaval over here. My guy is interested in looking around. I see you have a need and he'd be interested in visiting. I can't make any promises, but there's a good shot." Do you turn that down for fear of missing out or bring that in and take a shot? You take the shot, but the home team always bats last. You had money committed to potentially winning that, that you now move on with. And I don't think you (or the Texas staff) are likely to let guys you're really genuinely interested in (or that are genuinely interested in you since it works both ways) get away in the meantime.

    Hear me out. When I was pondering what law school to go to, I received substantially more money from some good schools than I did from UT. However, I cannot explain to you the allure of not moving your entire life in your early 20s if you perceive staying (near all of your friends and where you've come to feel is home) to be a good option career-wise. As such, I am a double longhorn with a lot of student loans.
