    At what point do the red lights and sirens go off with the issues with defensive recruiting? Interior D Line has 1 commit, secondary has 1 commit now, and still would like to see 1 more LB. What is the issue with recruiting on this side of the ball? What needs to change to fix it?

    Would Sark consider inside zone/trap/zone stretch utilizing a big z or h back via J Davis or J Washington like J Gibbs used in his misdirection offense using someone like Agbo as a big back making defenses think it's a pass and he's there for pass pro? The offensive line has the talent to pull this off imo. Thoughts?

    Who do you think will be a surprise on this year's team? My thoughts Gbenda playing into a 3rd rd draft grade and A January 1 sack and 9 TFL barring injury of course.

    If the NCAA levies the punishment against Michigan prior to the start of the season or more staff is implicated and suspended, what are the transfer portal rules and would any UM players push the button to leave and which teams would be able to scoop them up based on scholarship rules? Thanks

    FSU imo is the most over rated, however there are quite a few teams here that are an injury away from not being in the top 25

    While the blocking portion isn't necessarily rocket science, being at the right place at the right time based on blitz pick up outlet/safety valve or other variables isn't as easy as it sounds. Football IQ and good instincts matter here and Baxter had that in spades.

    I understand wanting 5 star recruits, but if we do not aquire the needed positions all the stars in the world won't complete the team. It's usually the not so sexy players that are the difference.

    They love chucking it all over the yard, the part you forgot is their QB throws a ton of interceptions. QE just needs to protect the rock and we will be fine. Call your shot, I have 2 picks and a fumble recovery with Texas +2 in the turnover margin and UT winning by 17+.

    If that right side holds up Texas is going to have a very successful season barring other injuries. Further it may be a 1 and done to the pros if they perform to their potential.

    If Texas does not get atleast 2 more interior D Line, 1 more LB, and 2 more CBs, can this recruiting class be considered a success? There are still some very large holes in this class IMO that need to be filled.

    Who have you seen that is a comp for Silas Boldin? I'd go with someone like Trindon Holliday out of LSU. Tho Boldin may be a bit quicker but Holiday a bit faster top end.

    If Wingo cracks the circle he would be my pick, more because of body size and make up + being the new guy so an impression of I belong here would be made.

    Will Texas move more to an equal split with power play vs misdirection as they are moving to a LOS conference? Follow up....which of the WR will get in the downfield blocking in the vein of J Whit?

    Texas until Sark took over was not on the right track either....not saying Cristobal is on Sarks level but he may be pushing Miami in the right direction.

    When recruits verbally commit to programs like Oregon with a blank NIL check, how many of them are actually trying to squeeze a bit more from other programs that they may actually want to go?

    1. Does Texas also advise that 50k in Texas is Not the same as it is in Cali, affordability state taxes etc? 2. Has Texas considered doing a high school coaches convention in other states ie LA GA MS etc? Would it help their footprint recruiting out of state talent if they did?

    I don't know if JB has the speed necessary to play CB. What I do know is the guy eats drinks and sleeps film study and finds himself in the right spot more often than not, gets others in the secondary in spots and alignments to make plays.
