    How much does this stunt the growth of the program overall and is it poor planning or just plain old bad luck? I know we probably will never be privy to all that happened here, but this is a really bad look for a team looking at the CFP, first year in the SEC, and one of the upper tier teams in all of the country.

    Agreed, however 3 of 5 DL have committed elsewhere. Brew and likely Anding off the board at CB. Pettijohn less than 50% to Texas, and the list continues. These are the guys UT brought in for visits. I guess more pointedly if you are going to land 25% or less "big Boy recruiting" and you want 4 or 5 guys why would you only bring in 5? Those numbers don't add up. Just sayin.

    How much trouble is Texas in? Defensive recruiting has had quite a few whiffs recently. D Line CB and trending that way for LBs..... Why is there so little momentum on this side of the ball? Is it an NIL issue coaching or something else? I know the standard recruit thru the whistle but these losses are starting to add up quickly which means the Horns are playing from behind. Hope they get it figured out

    I think Texas will be OK this year it's the next 2 or 3 I'm worried about.

    While I have a ton of confidence in Sark, I do not believe you can continue loosing these recruitments and praying at the last moment there will be a couple left to get. Not negative Nancy, just reality. You may get 1 but how many D Lineman does Texas need? Honest question.

    How much concern should there be with the string of misses on the interior D Line? At some point Texas is going to have to do a better job with HS recruiting at this position. They will not be able to live in the portal here forever. Texas needs a few Saturdays (good college player) and a Sunday ( NFL guy) or 2 to go along with Mr. January.

    Which coaches do you see on the hot seat, and which of those teams will have recruits Texas is interested in? Will Day still have a job if OSU looses to Michigan again? Way to early coaching carousel question?

    No disrespect to Bo Davis, I believe his Bus tirade was the turning point for Texas football, however he left the cupboard mostly bare so my question is.....How, with Texas vast resources are we competing with Bo for recruits seeing as he didn't do great recruiting while he was at UT, Development is another story altogether, but recruiting was not great.

    Ref the Niblack question on Coffee and Football, how involved is Niblack in the strength and conditioning program?? I think the answer to that will dictate how effective the young man will be.

    How big of a jump will he make once he gets on campus? I know Florida players are usually behind just a bit compared to other states.

    I hope they can bring back some of it. When Texas schools do well it's good for college football. I'd like to see them at least competitive just like TCU and hate to say it A&M. These programs make the sport much more interesting. It also means more Texas kids are staying in state and not going to Ohio State Bama or Georgia. Just sayin.
