  1. Im OK with certain penalties ie PI to save a td. What I am NOT ok with is presnap and penalties away from the play. If a kid is just playing hard I can find a little forgiveness. If its I am not paying attention or I am not disciplined type of lazy penalty is where I can not stand it. Late hits kinda nonsense, those are that are unforgivable. I do beleive that Muschamp being on the sidelines will make an improvement off the bat because of his no nonsense personality. When Bo Davis left, Texas did not have the same kind of accountability and a coach that would call them out. Sark and PK were birds of the same feather; very laid back. Now you have 2 very different parents on the sideline and that imho is going to be a great thing.
  2. His short area quickness/ explosion out of the cut are elite. The only things I saw critique wise is he will have to cover the ball up better in SEC play. He will also have to get behind his pads. He runs a little high. He is definitely a Sark specialty type of back with good hands.
  3. This is no suprise. There a quite a few athletes over the last 5 years or so that have jad this same issue. Legalizing gambling across the nation gave everyone access...including the nefarious types that will fix a game. Players, officials....probably so.e coaches.
  4. With the academic standards Texas has, how many dudes fell off the board?? UGA pre req is an arrest record...Texas you have to be relatively intelligent and have the grades. Id bet this has cost Texas several draft picks....
  5. Team 3. VY and Bijan...dynamic and Bijan has good hands...add Huffdaddy and DJ to lay the lumber on D. Davis to stretch the field...
  6. CB and Safety are intertwined in a lot of ways. IF D Will / Filsame / Jonah 2 of 3 come back as good or better health wise then you have more flexibility at CB or at least the rotation there. As it sits, there will be a CB or Nickel moved to cover a safety spot. Tons of talent and tons of injury.
  7. The only allegiance for 98% is the all mighty dollar.
  8. After Millers first season at Texas...making a run in the post season with little depth, what should year 2 recruiting look like? There are still a lot of holes to plug here so the canoe dont sink. Ill reserve any judgement until this team is built.
  9. Guess it may be less crowded when Sark speaks. It will still be a media stupid train with a ton of clickbait with Arch conversations.
  10. Great article. In addition Texas will have to stop shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. The biggest thing I would like to see Texas improve on is accountability with proper correction throughout the season. Texas has the pieces barring injury.
  11. Ant has first round talent. PK not putting him in correctly cost him several draft spots. Could and should have had a few more sacks.
  12. Its great that Sark is confident, however its a long season. Injuries can happen, a bad bounce, offense or defense not gelling the way they should, etc. My point is theres a lot of talent, and just as many question marks.
  13. Gbenda is one of my favorite Horns. Dude has heart and made the best of opportunities when they presented themselves.
  14. I have great respect for Jonah the athlete. While he may get another year maybe 2, i would prefer fo see him be great and healthy at one as opposed to above average at both but not excelling at either.
  15. Texas needs to play well with equal effort on both ends of the court. Dont matter how many you score if you dont stop the other team on the other end.
  16. So glad Colt is getting his swagger back. God is good...All the time!
  17. With changes in Division will it affect the development of players at schools like Aledo bumping up, DeSoto bumping down ref weekly competition and playoffs?
  18. A better question is why would parents not be more involved given the history. If I had kids looking at UGA there would definitely be a conversation and discouragement from that program.
  19. I am more impressed with the throws he didnt make than the ones he did. Threw it away when needed and didnt put the ball in danger the last half the season.
  20. Absolutely. Just waiting for a bunch of IMG style hs start popping up all over the country. Sped up type development and college prep for 4 and 5 star athletes feeding bigger college programs. It a shame it has become what it has.
  21. The joy for me was watching hs kids grow into young men developing and playing with passion and love for the sport. Its getting more and more like the pros where everything is about money and getting paid. They dont care about team or the fans and alum that pour money into the program so that they have the best eqipment, coaches, facilities to become their best. Absolutely agree that things def need to change or fans both rabid and general are gonna bail. I dont blame them one bit. At least theres still hs sports until they get corrupted as well.
  22. Just more proof that it is not about the best 12 getting in. This is a great way to loose college football fans. Ridiculous
  23. Maybe a question or topic on the website from different viewpoints and bring a few comments suggestions etc on the channel. Overall yall do a great job covering the Horns!!
  24. If he cleans up the penalties he is. Definitely has the physical tools and a bit of potential that hasnt been unlocked imo.
  25. Agreed but if you are getting rid of young talent due to budget to get 1 and done guys youre putting yourself behind the 8 ball.
