  1. We don't need the Vandy Pimp dancing around in the next SEC shorts because they beat us.
  2. Another good story about a player that has persevered and wants to be at UT.
  3. Great comeback for the reasons described above. But it is sad that UT had to make such a comeback against a team like Mississippi State.
  4. I was young then but loved James Street. Also a great pitcher for Texas.
  5. I thought it would be good to have the pimp start doing his strut to the music to end it.
  6. Another good one.
  7. Ohtani may wind up being the GOAT of all sports. I used to read a lot of stat books, and this is a bit like comparing apples and oranges but the reference above about Babe Ruth reminded me of an interesting stat of his that demonstrated his skills compared to others at the time. Not only was he a great pitcher early on, but after being traded from Boston (where he still may hold some records) he played the field for the Yankees. Regarding his homeruns- Babe Ruth hit more home runs in a single season than every other team in his league multiple times. For example, in 1921, he hit 59 home runs and out-homered every other team in the American League. In 1927, he hit 60 home runs and also out-homered all other teams. Guess how many hundreds of homeruns in a season a current player would have to hit to have hit more than every team in the league? Well, this year the Yankees hit 274 in the AL and the Dodgers hit 244. If Ohtani went on the juice maybe he could do it too. 🤣
  8. I checked a little while ago and Gibson's name and bio page are still there. Stone's name is on the roster, but his bio page was gone.
  9. What happened with the left? One pass! I hope they aren't falling into a predictable pattern and hope they might be setting up the next team.
  10. Another post for another decommit. I wonder if they were Pierce recruits?
  11. I miss those moments on tv. Utter chaos.
  12. Another small guy. Was he a Pierce recruit?
  13. Thanks for posting that.
  14. Before the season, then Arch might have won it this year.
  15. I guess you will be muted.
  16. I clicked on my name where you go to the profile. There are several things there and down toward the bottom of the list it says Ignore. Click on that and you will need to type in the name of the offender. Also, there are three things you can click and be sure to check them all.
  17. There are three different things to click on in the ignore feature. Be sure to click them all.
  18. Thanks. I have already put several on my ignore list and I don't like doing that.
  19. Do you excited that he has committed to Texas? Interesting.
  20. Looks good but with his dad being an Aggie there may be an upcoming rift in the family or perhaps his dad had some issue with AandM now. 😆
  21. I was hoping that we would get to see Trey play because he looked so good in that scrimmage before. However, there must have been something lacking or not up to snuff for Sark to get to this point where he does not even travel and appears to have 2 other guys between him and Arch. I hope he gets to a program where he can start.
  22. We were at the game last night but left after the 11th. Luke Harrison gave up two in his frame and did not look good. A freshman left gave up three in his frame and only recorded one out. He walked a bunch, a throwing error led to as as did some of Lamar's hits. He was bailed out by Bing who came in and got the next two batters. Thomas Burns was throwing heat in his inning. His fastball was 96-99 and was mostly at 97 and 98. Grubbs looked okay but gave up a homerun that bounced off the top of the fence as the left fielder (I think it was Monsour) was leaping. Not an impossible catch, but I think he is only about 5'11'. Texas had the bases loaded at least twice and didn't score. They struck out too much (big surprise) and did not really have timely hitting. Robbins swings a great bat and he played centerfield last night. Several transfers and freshmen pitched and most looked pretty good, at least through the 8th inning. I did not know they were going to play 12 or we might have stayed at least one more inning. But we had already been there almost 4 hours and those seats were getting hard.
  23. I told a Longhorn friend of mine about this. He said that he and his wife are going to Italy and that he will teach the Italians how Texans say hello. 🤣
