    We have already had 2 15 strikeout games and 1 18 strikeout game. Sometimes it seems to be contagious.

    That pitcher is pitching better than the Friday night pitcher last week. Way too many strikeouts for us. We have a tendency to do that and Borba in particular is not looking good. Too many good pitches are watched and too many out of the zone pitches are swung at by everyone tonight.

    Yeah, I watched a couple of games on the web and we even drove up to Amarillo last year to watch him. One of my favorites and I hope he gets another chance but he probably needs to get on a good work out routine too.

    I saw a couple of things where he came to camp out of shape and up to about 250. His strikeout numbers were always high and not the best batting average and I am sure that all played into it. I guess not enough improvement.

    HUDL tape looks good but I don't know anything about the competition.

    Maybe they should issue challenges based on the umpire's grades (if the SEC grades the umpires). Some umps in the big leagues has been overturned multiple times at a high percentage and others at a low rate. I know that the teams keep a challenge if successful, but they aren't always successful. The accuracy of the big league umps is really being documented now.

    I don't know much about any other freshmen, but if those stat categories are indeed freshmen leading as stated he should be at least at the top of list somewhere in the voting. Unless there is some other freshmen who has a great glove and many homeruns and semi-comparable stats to those listed it should not be close.

    Agreed and Kavan has also been shaky for the most part the last few weeks. If she does not pick up her game and be consistent again the post-season run will definitely be short

    There are a lot of good players and talent on the team, but to really go far we need more consistency among the batting lineup and the pitchers, particularly some of the relievers. I am glad Schloss is taking a look at Monsour in the outfield because our outfield play in general this year has been a bit subpar. Losing Jonah Williams turned out to be a pretty big blow.
