  1. Crittendon is basically Aaliyah Crump (super skilled offensively and physically strong) but 2 inches taller. Bjorn looks like a good outside shooter but it'll be good to see if she can translate physically to the P4 college game. This class is looking solid for Vic. The future is bright.
  2. She bumped knees with one of our players. Hopefully it's just a bruise and no structural damage.
  3. Oldacre with a knee injury is concerning going into the UCLA game. We were ready to wreck them healthy so I hope she can get back to 100% this week. A Betts vs Oldacre matchup would be awesome to watch. One last thing, I think Jordan Lee is going to be a special player for us the remaining 3 years she's here. Her offensive and defensive development this offseason has been next level. She's our best and cleanest defender and our best 3 pt shooter that can get nice mid range shots off the dribble too. She is NOT a role player and I hope Vic is putting her on a path to lead our team the next couple years once Maddie and Rory are gone. She keeps developing year after year and gets a little stronger, with some playmaking, she could be an Azzi Fudd type for us.
  4. Wasn't there a report today that he took a call from the NY Giants owner? It was just to touch base apparently. First off, are these reports true and are these the type of things people are extrapolating on as him close to leaving?
  5. Sark once again is out of touch with game planning, in game decisions, and recognizing the strength of his team when it comes to the running game. One mistake (penalty, turnover, etc) and he gives up on the running game. It took him a while to commit to running most the season when we had bijan and roschon. The rushing game is just a throw in once the passing game is effective or when his back is against the wall. When he has choices, it will always favor the passing game. This cost us the Washington game 2 years ago. It hurt us in the Ohio State games and multiple games this year. Sark is predictable in this way at this point. Coaches know this. It's not a coincidence that Georgia and most teams just play 3 back now to force Sark to do things he doesn't want to. Georgia didn't do anything fancy on defense. They just keep testing Sark's patience and he kept trying to press from a passing standpoint. Look at the Georgia RB's the last 3 years and look at ours. They are physical runners and no necessarily with elite speed. We gave up on Gibson too early and put too many eggs in the Baxter basket. We need to fully commit and recruit more dawgs on RB/OL and less speed.
  6. He should. But if he's misrepresenting things ofc. Our defense (which he's mostly talking about defensive players recruiting wise) is plenty physical. If he's going to tell me Colin Simmons and Ant Hill are not out there smashing people, he's lying. Lance Jackson and Justus Terry (Or Atkinson and Johnson) will get plenty of run and bring plenty of physicality next year.
  7. We got out physical-ed no question in the first game in Austin, but last night was less physicality in my mind than it was personnel, discipline, and focus. Georgia just has bigger and better players on the line right now. That's not our players not wanting to get in there and fight but it's just they are bigger and stronger than our OL and tack on the fact we hold on to jerseys too long, it exacerbates the situation. Our defensive line and LBs did fine against the run until they wore out in the 2nd half. The narrative would be so much different if Auburn would have just made the FG in the SEC championship. People are forgetting we didn't get outplayed in that game even though it was ugly, We should have won that game in regulation.
  8. Hope he pulls through. 🙏
  9. Both are very good shooters. Love to see Vic continue to recruit tough skilled shooters.
  10. If that's the case, then I don't agree with the sentiments to get the running game going this week. We should push the throttle down even further with tempo and short passes to start and attacking down the field later. I'm confident we'll score points, it's the other side of the ball that worries me in that game. Gunnar Stockton hasn't been sacked much this year and our secondary is very shaky right now with Taffe and McDonald banged up. We can't count on Guillbeau and Littleton to shutdown their assignments all game. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes 32+ pts to win this game.
  11. The girls looks good. We got shooters everywhere with Lee, Crump, Booker, and Preston. I would like to see Rory shoot more though. She didn't look for her shot the entire game.
  12. The million dollar question for me right now is what would the ceiling be for this season if Quinn wasn’t chased out to an extent versus what we know of Arch now? Do you think Quinn could take this OL and offense to the playoffs? I have a hard time believing Arch can develop enough this season to get us there but Im not 100% sure Quinn could either with this OL. It will be a bad look for Sark and this staff if Arch ends up being a bust. Let’s hope that’s not the case.
  13. What's the latest on these 2? Have they participated in practices yet?
  14. Commitments are soft these days with NIL. If we decide to adjust our NIL strategy and take more of a risky approach regarding the house settlement, then we'll flip a number of guys in the fall. Things seem to always fall in our favor every November/December so I'm expecting the same this year.
  15. This looks eerily like the WR situation last year. I hope it pans out the same but Chad Scott so far is not the recruiter Tashard Choice was.
  16. A legendary send off with a longhorn win.
  17. Exactly. He’s too reigned in and cautious with this version of Quinn. He threw the ball 85 yds in air out of high school. Even just the “get serious” change of haircut showed this arc which looking back might have been actually detrimental to him.
  18. People forget his arm strength. We used to refer to his arm as a golden arm. He just relies too much on wrist flick right now. I think Quinn could use a body language coach seriously. What he thinks is being calm is perceived as being lethargic and energyless which is fair. People don’t gravitate to that. I hope he works hard after seeing all of these critiques and develops even more. (Quinn throws 85 yd in air) https://www.tiktok.com/@maxpreps/video/7277024155579452714?lang=en
  19. It hurt me watching Quinn’s reaction. I think it’s the first time I’ve felt that I was seeing his true emotion and not a chilled out shell. Never seen him so hurt and I hope it ignites something great in him. McDaniel is a perfect successor as a mentor for Quinn. He knows that Miami offense already. Just got to tighten up things in the pocket and let it rip.
  20. Why is Cam dropping so low?
  21. Happy for Vernon but surprised Cam hasn't been picked yet.
  22. Ouch. We really need to land some folks in the portal now.
  23. Lee, Crump, and Phelia can all shoot 3s and I'm sure Madi will work on 3s more this summer as well. Not saying it doesn't help to have more but a bigger concern is that we just have Oldacre and Moore right now for PF/C vs the crazy depth and talent South Carolina, UCLA, and UConn have at those positions. If we want to get past final 4 semis, we have to be able to compete on the inside this year. Jones, Oldacre, and Jak were good enough against all the other teams in the SEC, but were outplayed and out skilled against South Carolina. Having to deal with Betts (plus her freshman sister now) or Sarah Strong would just be scary right now.
