RT has had 2 seasons now with building and coaching his own team. There's been a clear decline in the results year to year. The criticism is fair at this point. RT is a good guy and I'm sure he's been good for the guys off the court. But his issue is building a winning roster and figuring out the identity and maximizing the roster he has. RT is a defensive specialist yet our roster has been built with more 1 dimensional offensive minded players in key roles. How does building a team where your best player is Max Abmas and even Tre Johnson this year aligned with RT's strength which is defense? How do compete in the SEC without having a starting caliber big man? We've been the smaller team in every SEC game this year. That's a roster building issue. Don't get me wrong, RT gets the guys to play hard but there has to be more if you want to succeed in the SEC. The loss of Chendall Weaver and his energy and momentum changing plays this entire SEC schedule has hurt the team more than people realize. I hope we can still make the tournament but it's clear RT is not the right coach to raise the standard of Texas basketball to a higher bar than we've ever had. Good enough won't cut it anymore.

Committee should pick #1 seed based on recency all things being equal. Texas is clearly playing better than SC right in the last 5-6 games. It's a big deal not getting the #1 seed and picking the site of the first games.

Sorrell had a nice 40 time but I feel like he and Alfred were barely talked about or shown in the media highlights. Did Sorrell do the on field drills because I never saw it?

I've seen a few videos now on Jayden Daniel's VR training he's been using since LSU and how he's talked about how it's helped him be the QB he is today. I believe LSU has started to use it with all of their QBs recently too. Does Milwee and staff have any tools like that for our QBs? I think it would be super useful for the QBs to be able to see 1st POV customized variations of defenses without needing 21 other guys to simulate it. This should only get better with AI improvements.

Not much to choose from right now in terms of a legit big that can defend and rebound with the best. Petraitis was nothing special to me. Any new faces we’re going after?

RT wasn't a good fit for Mitchell. RT just never trusted him enough and thus slowed his development. Hopefully he'll land somewhere that can help him get to the next level.

Why do we even have NLIs anymore? Pretty disappointing since Cam is a really good player.

We shooting lights out right now but Baylor hanging in. Weaver in foul trouble will keep this close. Mitchell has to run out on Bridges. He’s a sharpshooter.

Murphy and Sweat had faster feet than everyone there. You could tell by how much cleaner they were doing the drills.
