    I can't think of a precedent where an NBA head coach left a job to take a college job. Looks like Snyder is making $8 million per season. Would Texas go there? Ivey seems like he is on the trajectory to get an NBA HC job. Doesn't seem like the right move to take a college job at this point

    That is where I am at. If we are not going to commit the $12mil which really needs to be $15mil for a coach, staff and NIL then we should just stand pat as Terry is doing ok in the $8-9 mil range

    If reports are accurate Kelly is getting $6 million per season from the Raiders, it makes the move make a lot more sense as he made $2.7 at OSU

    With the ruling last week that it is not necessary to enter the Portal to transfer AND the deadline moved to Feb 7th for 4 year players to remove themselves from the draft, has the NCAA created an unintended window for Universities to recruit players that have declared for the draft?

    Barnes was fired after not making the Sweet 16 his last 7 years at Texas. Barnes made it 4 of his first 10 including 2 E8 and a FF, Shaka never won a Tournament game in 5 tries and only made the Tournament 3 out 5 opportunities

    Day is not getting canned. This is not just a $37 million decision for Day. They also have highly paid assistants which pushes the buyout north of $50 million Then who? Hiring another high level coach and staff is another $125+ million commitment. All of this for a guy who finishes in the Top 10 every year
