  1. Danny Duncan is one of the best YouTubers ever imo. Also Ryan Trahan’s 50 states in 50 days series has been extremely entertaining
  2. You’ll often see recruits say things like “Best in Texas stay in Texas” or the other version of “Best in Texas leave Texas” I think some get carried away with just looking at the composite rankings and going off of that. When actually looking at players from 2022-2024 and what they’ve actually done, I think Texas landed the best player from Texas in each of those 3 years. 2022: Cade Klubnik was the highest ranked recruit in Texas, and you could make the argument he is the best player, especially if he has a big year and becomes a top 5-10 pick. However, at the moment, I think the best player clearly has to be Kelvin Banks. A top 10 pick who was one of the best tackles in football for all 3 years in college. 2023: I don’t think there’s much to say here. DJ Hicks was the highest rated recruit in 2023, but it would be flat out wrong to say anyone other than Anthony Hill Jr. is the best player from that year. 2024: It’s pretty early to form concrete opinions on the 2024 class as they have only played one season. Justin Williams and DJ Lagway were the two highest ranked recruits. I think at the moment you have to give the nod to Colin Simmons as he had by far the best freshman season of any college player from Texas. DJ Lagway could end up as the number 1 overall pick one day and there’s a long way to go. As of now, Colin Simmons gets the top spot. 2025 will be fun to follow as Texas was STACKED with top end talent. Eight 5-stars overall with about 20 top-100 ranked players. Texas will once again have a great chance at producing another top talent with players like Jonah Williams, Kaliq Lockett, Kade Phillips, Lance Jackson, and more… In general, from 2022-2024, I think it’s safe to say that for the most part, Texas has proven that the best in Texas not only stay in Texas, but attend the University of Texas.

  3. MLB draft is unpredictable. Crazy things happen so who knows
  4. How far would Fien and Kayson have to fall to end up actually going to Texas?
  5. I’ll dig into my bank account for it.
  6. Gather all the NIL available and keep trying at Bowman (I wish)
  7. This seems interesting. Wonder if there’s any truth to it.
  8. Nitpicking but Dylan Stewart 1 overall higher than Colin is interesting.
  9. With Calicut trending towards Georgia, it makes Benjamin a big need
  10. Lol Mavs definitely got a far better return than the Suns
  11. He’s far better than Heat Ray Allen or to be even put in the same conversation/role as Heat Ray Allen.
  12. He actively dragged the team down. We were a much much better team without him. He is the reason we lost in the first round. If we simply had just cut him without even getting anything in return, we would’ve been a better team. Every player on the roster was better when playing without Jalen vs with Jalen
  13. Surely you don’t actually think that’s what they’re doing
  14. Well Jalen Green isn’t good so we’ll be fine
  15. Also curious with the other comments. This alone is announcing 3 more Hi’s on top of the already existing ones?
  16. Since 2016 that seems really good. Rattler is probably the worst and even he showed some great stuff at one point. We’ll see on Jackson Arnold
  17. It’s only June don’t panic… blah blah blah… this really sucks right now though.
  18. He’s not far off. He could’ve been an easy first rounder or top 15 pick at a school that played him correctly
  19. That’s not what I’m saying. Him going to Texas is better for his development compared to going to a school like TCU, Baylor, A&M, SMU, etc. He is extremely talented and would be a great player no matter where he went. There’s different levels of great though.
  20. Clemson getting both him and Perry-Wright would hurt.
  21. I don’t think he would only be great at Texas. When I said he wouldn’t be as great at other schools, I wasn’t meaning literally every other school in the country. I meant I don’t think he can go to any school and reach his ceiling like he could here. Or like he could at Georgia, OSU, etc.
  22. I’m not using anything as concrete proof. I don’t think there is any concrete or correct way to view this. This whole conversation started based on hypotheticals.
  23. Hi to them too. What’s your point? I do think he could be equally as good or better at Georgia. I’m not saying he is at his absolute best here or we are the only school he could reach that. I’m simply saying he wouldn’t be THIS good at ANY school.
