U T can do anything it sets its mind on... however, I think we need to hire the young up and coming coach from Division 2 or Historic Black College ranks. Someone who can spot and develop talent that others over look. We need someone with vision AND character. In other words... a winner.

Cal's Freshman recruit em use em and then their "One and Done" approach is not much different from the NIL Portal approach... it's still "One and Done" but on a whole different level. The question is, can Cal develop skills in players that are already at the top of their skill set. He's good with high school kids, but can he intice the best to come his way and can he devise a method to make them a juggernaut. I mean Razerbacks. Calling all pigs. I thing this is going to stink.

I haven't had much love for Simms. I felt he had a entitled attitude and a chip on his shoulder. However, I have had realize he wasn't raised in Texas! LOL... He was treated poorly when things went the wrong way at Colorado. But Babers says he was a great teammate and that says he wasn't all about himself and the media persona wasn't fair to him. Great interview. Sorry I didn't get to see it live. I read a piece this morning about Michigan offering over1.5 million to a player to leave and play elsewhere! I was amazed. I have wanted a contract that makes players play the whole season. I think these contracts need to work to protect players too. Fans too... I guess that would be dreaming!

The problem with the wildcat is everyone's seen it. They know what. Is coming. UT would be better off lining up with 3 tight ends pull the guard a push Baxter or use a big lineman to carry the ball. If you use Baxter or Blue the defense has to hesitate because they're not sure. And how about using Niblack on an end around off tackle with a big lineman in the backfield push or block and a pulling guard lead to him or pushing him depending on the set. And after it works, fake it and throw to the lineman or on of the tight ends.

Bobby, Red has already changed position once. If he worked at it could be a tight end?
