    Have no idea about what you’re talking about! I was referring to NCAA not making available the schools where softball programs are profitable As a former member of the Longhorn foundation my family had season tickets for many years. I am much older now & I am experiencing memory issues. So if I wasn’t clear I apologize.

    I believe first two college World Series softball nationally televised had nearly 2 million viewers or more 8,000 fans at game . Game three 3 million tv viewers & 12,000 fans in attendance. I believe our soft ball team made Texas a lot of money directly & indirectly. You get the last word. Texas Softball Rocks . I know Texas was against Title 9 when it was being established. But I believe our university embraces women sports now & I know OTF does. It’s self evident.

    I did not say sexism is a major problem. I said it’s sexism to believe they can’t be profitable. Because they can under the leadership of CDC & Mike white head softball coach. Winning softball College World Series gives us a shot at Texas winning the prestigious Director’s cup . In addition if Oklahoma’s softball program can turn a profit what makes you think our girls can’t . Softball is hands down more entertaining than many college sports programs. In my opinion!

    There is no reason to think girls soft ball can’t make a profit . It’s sexism to say they can’t . OTF fortunately for Texas is one of the only podcast that actively promote girls sports. Often having players on the program. I softball team are national champions. I’m so proud of them . They represent our school well .

    Texas Tech didn’t pay a dime for Canady . It was donor money. Texas came out strong, so proud of the Longhorns. Can’t wait until next year.”HOOKEM “

    Oh what a night ! All we heard from the commentators was Canady, Canady , Canady ! perhaps they will respect Kavan now that she’s beat Canady 4 straight times. My wife & I so enjoyed the win ! Can’t wait until tonight! Thank you OTF for the wonderful coverage of our Ladies Softball team . Mike White & our team representing our University well .

    Loved Cotton , he played high school ball at Thomas Jefferson in Port Arthur Texas . He was WR & RB . Then went on to have a legendary career at Texas . Golden Triangle full of superstars..

    Texas baseball had a tough evening. Softball had a great day . They beat Oklahoma in softball college World Series for first time.
