    Until last night we controlled our destiny on a team that replaced 10 of 11 starters on offense. I’ll take that over wondering if we’ll be bowl eligible after getting beaten down by OU the first week of October.

    I remember the dark days when pro athletes got free agency and everyone thought how unsustainable things would get. Instead athletes became millionaires and owners billionaires. Looks like a win-win.

    Too simplistic a call. Among top tier coaching prospects at solid P4 schools looking to step up to a destination job, they’ll get significant guarantees. For G5 coaches and hot coordinators, they’ll take more favorable deals. So the Kiffins, Cignettis, Lannings, etc, will get the guaranteed deals, or leverage their existing schools for better guarantees. Guys like Fisher and Franklin, who already have sweetheart buyouts, will be less demanding.
