    It was Arch’s fault for looking deep on plays where there were better options underneath. That int throwing to Winston of all people deep with the safety practically calling a fair catch jumps out to me. Was the play calling 100? No, but it never is. Doesn’t mean the QB gets a pass either.

    Sorry if I triggered you, but my observations have to do with Arch’s inability to handle the blitz and missing open receivers. Those are performance issues, not scheme.

    Nah, Arch did plenty wrong on his own. No need to blame him for others.

    When you send six, especially when you overload a gap, guys will get through more often than not. But a good QB can read it and get rid of the ball or get out of there fast. Find it odd that when Arch finally started hitting the underneath guys for quick gains and first downs against Oh St our running game opened up?

    Smearing? I don’t think so. He’s played awful the past two games. As far as “amyone”, I can name dozens of QBs I’d take Arch over. But right now Quinn and Sam would be far better alternatives.
