    Comer suffered a major injury at the end of the 68 season and didn’t play a down in 69. His replacement at TE in 69? Randy Peschel. Great player though.

    Tim was a really great player. The reason 1978 wasn’t mentioned in his bio was he suffered a massive leg injury (can’t remember if he broke or if it was a knee) the home opener of the season so he got an injury redshirt. RIP

    How many future NFL players were on that 2005 team? A whole bunch. The starting receivers, the two deep at RB including the FB, Three OL were multi year starters in the league. The entire starting DL and DBs. I won’t even comment on those who were redshirting or injured: McCoy, Finley, Muckelroy, Shipley I think Newton, Burrow or Tebow would have somehow hung in there.
