  1. We hit .448 that set and had 6 blocks.
  2. LONG rally ending in MSU kill. 24-8. MSU goes into net on jump ball. Set Texas. Called to dinner.
  3. Rutherford kill. 20-5. \ Serve error. 20-6. MSU with a dig that goes over and falls in. The dreaded dig kill. 20-7. Rutherford breaks the court with a line smash. 21-7. Halter serving. Ames/Skinner block. Ace. Skinner kill. And we have 17 set points.
  4. Bella Binney, not Kahahawai rotated so far in this set. No sign of Swindle yet. Wenaas put away the overpass. 16-4. Rutherford/Singletary block. Called attack error. Serve error. 17-5. Rutherford kill. Skinner block. 19-5.
  5. Wenaas kill line. 15-4. Timeout MSU. This is incredibly one sided right now.
  6. Skinner kill from bump set by Halter after great Akana dig. 8-2 Skinner kill from back row. 9-2. Serve error. 9-3. Ames kill on slide. MSU in net. Ames and skinner are hammering it tonight. Wenaas/Singletary block. 11-3. MSU long off touch. 11-4. Skinner kill, her fifth and second from the back row. 12-4. Back to back Singletary blocks. 14-4.
  7. Ames kill that got every big of the far corner on the slide. MSU attack error. Ames/Skinner block. 7-1 Akana's service run ends with an error long. 7-2.
  8. First point to Texas as MSU hit line wide. MSU block of Skinner tied it. Skinner kill on next point. 2=1 Texas. Skinner kill, ames kill on slide. 4-1. Good start.
  9. Time to end the losing streak. Mississippi State is 10-8 overall and 4-5 in conference.
  10. Hey, they were down 10 at one point. 39-40 at the half is a good thing. I kind of like Dennis Gates, so I was really disappointed by Missouri's 2023-24 season. Missouri might not pull this game out, but being down only 3 at Memphis with 7 minutes left is a sign they are much improved over last year. Starting to look like Georgia will pull it out. 78-71 with 2:27 left.
  11. Yep, see first page of this thread. Offensive rebounding and taking more and making a higher % of threes was the difference.
  12. So there you go. Home court matters in college basketball. And A&M going to A&M. Georgia pulled it out by 5. Memphis is now up a point over Missouri with 10:23 left. Florida has closed to within a point with 16:15 to go.
  13. One point game in Orlando. Agroids up 61-60 with the ball and 1:18 left. UCF shooting just 32.7% and being outrebounded 41-32, and they just scored to take a 62-61 lead with 45 seconds left.
  14. Big East is having fun tonight. Butler in a one possession game with Missouri State in final 2 minutes. Providence in a one possession game with Central Connecticut State in final 2 minutes. Seton Hall tied with St. Peter's in the second half. Xavier tied with Texas Southern in the second half. Nova up a point over Lafayette at the half.
  15. Down goes USCe 74-71, despite shooting 13 more ft. Offensive rebounding and 3pt shooting was the difference. USF starting to build a lead over UF, 28-18 with 7:35 in the first half. Georgia looking like it might go to the wire. It leads 53-51 with 14:13 left. So much for there being 10 laughers.
  16. N. Florida up 69-66 with S. Car timeout and ball with 42 seconds left.
  17. Georgia shooting 16.7% from three and up a single point over Tennessee Tech with 17:19 to go.
  18. USCe in a nail biter at home against N. Florida. 64-61 Gamecocks with 2:15 left.
  19. Misery leading Memphis 38-25 with 3:50 left first half. Former Red Raider, former Cowboy, former Mustang and now former Memphis Tiger Tyreek Smith re-entered the portal a few hours before the game started. I wonder how much NIL he got for his few months of practice in Memphis?
  20. And "has no chance" UCF is tied with A&M at the half. And Johnson hit a three to start the second half, and UCF is up 32-29.
  21. Islanders are trying to make a game of it. Down 5 with 10:33 to go. Forcing a lot of Purdue turnovers. Looks like UCF is without Sellers. He missed the debacle of the second scrimmage against Georgia. With him out, UCF has no chance.
  22. Purdue has 16 assists on 17 baskets. Its last basket of the half was on a breakaway after a steal. Islanders were keeping it close for about 11 minutes, but a 26-12 run let Purdue go to the lockers up 49-33.
  23. If Purdue didn't have a 7'4" center, would it still exist? Haas, Haarms, Edey, and now Jacobsen.
  24. My bad about saying a CoC player is from Ireland. He's actually from Belfast, so make him a UKer. I blame ESPN for listing him being from Ireland, but had I looked to the city as well as country the first time, then I would have caught it.
