  1. Our youth showed but lessons being learned.
  2. Unbelievable come back on set two.
  3. Could also make those second round games slotted into some of the lesser bowl game sites with emphasis on regional locations. This model would motivate players not to skip the bowl games as well.
  4. Exaggerated talk. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
  5. I don't listen, believe or repeat shady info from rumormongers.
  6. Arch can make all the throws. Most of his deep balls are just a tad long and I think when we add a bit more speed to that position his long ball will become the weapon, we all expected.
  7. Great post. Certainly, think either are possible but hoping one plays out.
  8. Tech ahead of Georgia, I think not. Otherwise agree with your rankings.
  9. An equally pertinent question is how did we beat Kentucky and MSU? The truth is we are a very talented team who has been terribly inconsistent and has not been very good for much of the season. I think we are lucky to have the record we do at this point and still have our goals intact. This week, I agree fully, will show us the real picture. We can only depend on ourselves.
  10. I think we will finish where we always do around the top 5 class, plus or minus.
  11. Yes, my wife has me baylen too, but it keeps me in shape and the stock fed.
  12. This team looks much more diverse with lots of speed and several players that can take over and score on any given night. Excited to see this team bold together as a unit. Good mix of ages too.
  13. Can't wait to see this team in action.
  14. They look good but the game in Austin will tell the story.
  15. Agreed. When I watch that guy, I see a little bit of Vince Young in him but with a much lesser cast around him.
  16. Young team that will grow from their last two matches.
  17. Proud of our girls for fighting hard and almost pulling the reverse sweep. This young team has been amazing.
  18. I decided to go watch an OU game in Norman this past weekend. I had never been to their stadium. The stadium is completely enclosed and was very loud. They have their Heisman trophy winters and the Selmon Brothers statues outside the stadium. They also have a player walk-in which is a poor man's version of our Bevo Boulevard. Went to one of their most famous tailgates which was very well done. The tailgate consisted of a house that a friend of mine bought just for that purpose that is within walking distance of the stadium. In the back they had a place for a band to play live music, sitting area with TV screens to watch pregame and post-game, a bar and lots of food and drinks. They also have a vehicle they call the Schooner that will drive you and drop you off at the stadium though with close enough to walk. The stadium seats were so close together that the game was uncomfortable to watch at times despite having premium seats on the 50-yard line. My biggest complaint of the stadium was very loud pipe and music and advertising virtually the entire game, so loud you could barely hear the person sitting next to you between plays. Also, so loud that you could not hear the band at all. Was a somewhat rainy day and cantankerous crowd at times because they lost pretty handily to Ole Miss. I do not plan to ever go back though I am glad I got to see how the other side lives.
  19. He would for sure start. He played many years in the NFL at a little south of 300 pounds (~280-285), but his quickness and high motor would carry him in today's game as it did in yesterdays. Wish we had a guy like him now.
