  1. He’s a great fit for Northwestern or Purdue. Where you can win…or lose and the fan base knows you still play football. Most of them do anyway.
  2. Don’t like the guy, never have. May he go the way of Les Miles. Hopefully LSU goes after Elko
  3. Don’t pass the eye test physically? Come on man we win the eye test every time we step off the bus. Also, Sark might be due an extension if they manage to grow and get to the CFP. The defense has been dominant when they get any offense. If you want to see a miserable Texas fan base go back to Charlie Strong’s tenure or John Mackovic’s tenure specifically 1997. This guy is a joker joint smoker.
  4. While I don’t want to admit it. I turned the game off after the td going up 38-21. I believe my comment to my two small kids young kids was “I can’t watch this garbage, we are just not a good team this year.” My 3 year old daughter asked why and said Hook’em horns it will be ok. She was right and I learned a valuable lesson from her. Sometimes it’s ok to turn it off and ask for better effort and still believe in your team, and no matter what Hook’em horns!
  5. Truly a remarkable team and character effort. These guys have grit and determination. Now if they would channel that into execution consistently from the start they’ll be truly dangerous. I think the run game is about to go off next week. I think CJ coming back with Tre they are fresh and will be focused down the stretch. I liked when they ran duo and think they have the backs now to be able to focus on blocking specific concepts for our two best and experienced backs. I’m hoping it’ll be a welcome home run fest next week for us so we can CJ trol the clock and get our D some much needed rest even against the fighting Pavia’s
  6. Just win babaaaaayyyyy
  7. Who you gonna call? Not Lame Kiffin, you call who the Mannings suggest and get this talented train back on the tracks. I really think Sark is looking for a raise if Kiffin and Indiana guy are being paid more than him and he has more playoff appearances than them combined. The titans are a trainwreck with very little going for them and a rookie QB with a bad o-line and no running game OR defense. At least we have defense here. Sark has things rolling here and he hasn’t exactly had success in the NFL previously. Get this offense propped back up. Win out, make the playoffs, and you’ll get a blank check without having to uproot and fight the NFL battles. If they tank this year worse I’m not sure why ANY NFL team would want him. What’s your sales pitch? “I took the preseason number one at a place that I developed with the Heisman favorite abd and a manageable schedule and managed to look horrible offensively and player decry, the key things that would require success at any level.” “Hire me so I can have the same chance with your organization. I promise I’ll take another job before I really have to dig deep and power through.”? Hope he’s a man of integrity like he says he is and leans into the challenge here this season not run away from it.
  8. If Texas that played against OU shows up 31-10 good guys. If we continue the abhorrent offense we had last week 24-13 MSU. If we can’t possess the ball MSU will break through on this defense. Unfortunately, given the body of work especially on the road this season I’m taking MSU 24-20 🤬😢. I hope I’m wrong but I’ve got battered fan syndrome and just don’t have much hope even if Baxter is back. I hope I’m wrong, I really really hope I’m wrong.
  9. I disagree, he also messed up at TN and his reputation for being a disloyal POS is growing and growing. Also, if he has success at FL the odds are he’ll jump to NFL or bigger contract elsewhere. I think he’ll flame out at FL. To me he and Herman are cut from the same cloth.
  10. We have one more road game after this…Athens and their speed trap UGA for this all gas no brakes offense 😝
  11. Florida seems like a train wreck right now and probably didn’t want to leave ND and try and rebuild a program in the toughest conference in the country. Why would he consider Texas and not Florida? If we spiral and Sark gets fired it’ll be a dumpster fire 🔥 here worse than Florida IMO.
  12. Heck yes!! Go QE, get it done son!!
  13. Is KJ Lacey James Street in this situation? Don’t sleep on Arch he’s tough and smart. I truly believe this will make him the best version of himself and grow into the player we know he can be. I’m inclined to believe this is more similar to Vince Young. Remember he couldn’t throw and we struggled to develop offensively in 2003 and 2004 early, but after almost losing at Kansas we didn’t lose another game when he was the starter. Realistically, it’ll continue to be a roller coaster this year since our schedule is WAY tougher than Vince’s was in 2004, but fear not Arch is not a bust. He’s a young player learning his way as a starter and as a leader.
  14. I hope for their sake Vandy wins the SEC this year.
  15. I understand, and don’t feel attacked at all. I would argue that it is okay selection in addition too all the other things noted. Mainly because we’re not looking at the things other teams don’t do well, i.e. Kentucky is bottom of the SEC in rushing defense and pass defense, but we chose to try and attack their pass defense without first establishing a run game which would inflow the pass rush and create better match ups downfield. I heard a stat that we only had 6 rushes the first half. That’s not a recipe for success. Heck even if we’re going three and out running the ball at least the clock is moving and we were going three and out any way. It’s all frustrating because we have seen what we can do when we play up to our potential. Heck we focused on establishing a running game against osu and OU and they have the best defenses in the country. Why not lean on that against bad defenses?
  16. 100% we’ve seen what they can do when they play complimentary smart football. We smoke OU by 17 and in the second half it didn’t even feel that close. Hopefully we can get Baxter back and the run in game can elevate. I’d actually love to see Niblett get more involved almost as a poor man’s Jaydon Blue. Would also like to see us feature the talent we have at the right end position. Play some up tempo ball and run right at people. Let’s see if they can hold up.
  17. Hopefully we can continue to get better in all phases. The next two games are tough but winnable. Georgia…that’s a scary one.
  18. It’s frustrating to hear stuff like we’ve got to do a better job getting him easy completions…from the play caller. Earth to Sark, call plays that do that. It’s like we’re not scouting teams on offense and attacking weaknesses it looks like we just go out and gameplan after the game has started. He fact arch hasn’t gotten hurt is still astounding to me and a testament to his toughness. It’s almost criminal to do that to him.
  19. For sure! Buckle up and enjoy the ride! We’ve at least got talent to work and grow with!!
  20. Did we…did we play offense tonight?! Interesting fact we had 332 and 306 yards against 2 of the top defenses in the country (OSU and BLOWU) and 340 and 179 against 2 of the worst in power four (Florida and Kentucky). That screams to me MATURITY. We get up for big games against big teams, but when we should show up and handle business we walk into the game looking entitled, unprepared, unfocused, out of synch, lifeless, and apathetic. I really didn’t like Wingo’s body language tonight on a couple of throws specifically the throw early on across the middle that was wide open (Arch HAS to connect on these it’s killing us multiple time this year see osu in the 4th quarter), the third and long ball that was behind but he got his hands on, and the throw in OT. Wingo doesn’t seem to attack the ball but more expects it to be thrown to him perfectly. Then at times when it is…it’s inexplicably dropped. His blocking on a couple of the outside runs especially one on third down with Archis really bad for a player that is so physically gifted. He also isn’t fighting for PI calls. Even the one last night he body language was passive rather than aggressively attacking the ball. IDK there is a lot on offense overall that we laymen can see, the most glaring in lack of intensity and physicality in the run game from the line. @Gerry Hamilton get ready I think you’re picking MSU next weekend because Texas just got out physical’d on offense badly tonight. Defense brought it…HARD so did special teams, so that tells me it’s a mentality and attitude within the offense not the team as a whole.
  21. I think losing Coach Choice is a big one too. He was such a great coach and an energizer bunny on the sideline.
  22. 4 times tonight and zero recoveries. 2 on d and 2 on punts
  23. It’s a fair point. We don’t have any more blue basketball teams on the schedule thankfully so maybe now we can focus on playing football and moving the ball offensively. Heck at this point let’s just try to even out the TOP.
