  1. Hot take, Texas looked like crap yesterday and we’re never gonna win another game ever ever. Sark is dumb and done and our players don’t actually care or like football. Everything is broken and can’t be fixed. This is 2021 all over again. Worse actually, it’s 1997 but we don’t have Ricky Williams. Florida can redeem themselves to us by beating the Aggies in CS next week and we can redeem ourselves by getting back to playing elite defense and getting Arch better protection and a little more physical running game. We also need leaders to truly emerge and galvanize both sides of the ball on the lines. That can and will happen fastest through adversity. As Jake Taylor famously said
  2. Damn! The line just got jammed! Can we bring him in to whip their asses into some freaking pride?
  3. Agree, it’s like we watched them kick punched in the nuts and just roll over and ask for more. We didn’t even look like we wanted to play on defense. If Manny is really that big of a piece then we have huge issues on defense too. I couldn’t agree more that the complete lack of creativity to get pressure on Lagway is criminal. You can’t tell me we have that much speed, size, and talent in our front 7 and secondary and can’t get after him all damn day. I’m astounded we aren’t able to get in the backfield and bully these teams, any team. PK has earned our trust but this season it just seems like we’re playing unprepared uninspired football.
  4. Think he’s already transferring?! Are we surprised that Terry isn’t traveling?
  5. I really hope I’m wrong but I am worried Texas offense will be a no show and Florida does just enough to beat us at home. 10-7 Flooryda
  6. I would say young in the sense that they haven’t played a lot of football collectively and we’re also basically in search of a LG that can actually play consistently. I’m still a Neto fan not much of a Stroh fan honestly.
  7. I’m worried about this one too. I’ve got 10-7 Florida. I think that our offense is just not dynamic like we hope this year and o-line is still so young.
  8. Sign him now.
  9. Call his bookie
  10. They’re gonna do it with all the meth strength they can afford
  11. Haha, true. Unless they really want to violate hippa and lose all credibility by violating patient confidentiality then sure it’s real. Let’s say the prognosis is accurate regardless of the post being real. Let’s see what Mateer can do with his throwing hand still recovering. A better conspiracy theory is that they made up the surgery angle to give him a week off before Texas and help him look better if he plays the “hero” coming back from a “surgery”. If they win making him the clear Heisman favorite and OU the greatest team ever ever with an SEC and national championship basically in the bag.
  12. Is Reed improved? Or is he benefiting from bad secondary play (ND) on a few explosives and horrid offensive teams (Auburn)? That ND game he was 17-37 and Auburn was 15-22 with a QBR of 35.1.
  13. Indeed
  14. Hell yes! As an Arkansas and Texas grad I have to say this was long overdue. Back to the good ole days @Gerry Hamilton your move
  15. I do wish the major sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, track and field, volleyball etc would have a champions game where the two champions played for ultimate supremacy at the end of each season. It would be very eye opening to see that head to head competition I think.
  16. Stay away from the west end. It really is a lot like Austin when I was growing up in the 90s. Bardstown road, Cherokee Park and Frankfort Ave are all great areas centrally located with lots of great food and activities!! NuLu downtown is great too!
  17. Honestly, don’t mess with staying in Lexington. It’s easier and cheaper to stay in the east end in Louisville or in Cincinnati. It is a bit of a drive but it’ll be cheaper and have more to do than you would in Lex. I lived in Louisville and love it up there just not in the cards to get back up there this year.
  18. Oh I think he’ll be on the field against Texas. Not sure what game the criminals are playing but they are up to something.
  19. This is our best year yet haha!! Seriously though, I think part of it does have to do with the pre-snap movement and motion that forces o-line to be in stances longer than others and with teammates moving around in their peripheral vision plus defensive adjustments. The holding is just lack of awareness IMO, these guys (DJ Campbell I’m looking at you) need to learn to let go and take a shorter gain or even a loss rather than setting us back so far behind the chains. Special teams on return specifically is to just leave it alone if there’s ANY chance of a block in the back or a hold. I think it is a lot about teaching these guys to trust their technique AND athleticism as well as the guys around them. Also, maturity, knowing that making fewer mistakes in critical moments sets you up for success AND the added benefit of forcing your opponent to have to perform without making a mistake. As a baseball player we took pride in the teams that were successful at committing the fewest errors and making all the fundamental plays. THAT takes a team from good to great and makes those tough games come out in your favor.
  20. Damn skippy
  21. Not against us but against the Aggies maybe.
  22. That was a hell of a catch too even though he was beat he hustled and more often than not that ball gets dropped
  23. Love this!! Talk about a real DUDE!!
  24. Agree!! I have watched the UTEP game and Stroh was atrocious on run blocking and liked absolutely lost out there more often than not. It’s good we’ve gotten him experience, but I think we need to get Neto’s mean streak out there and push some B’s around!!
