  1. Amen, I’d rather an ugly win rather than a pretty loss right now!!!
  2. Nor should he! Let’s be honest and please stop all this QB change BS. This kid may not have played well tonight from a statistical perspective, but he didn’t turn the ball over and really didn’t put the ball in harm’s way even with all that pressure. All night long…AGAIN. That alone gave us a chance to at least make UK beat us straight up, which in the end they couldn’t do. I’m not sure another QB in the country would fare a whole lot better given what Arch has in an o line in front of him. That said he was off tonight and missed some easy throws to Wingo and Endries that would have extended drives and or put us in a position to score. That can get better, but only if Ardh is out there and continues to prove to everyone just how strong and tough he is. Look at that kid at the end of the game his arms and neck and tell me he doesn’t give you the best chance to win right now at Texas!!!
  3. True, would also help if he had any protection in front of him at all.
  4. Agree!! That dude was beat UP tonight and still battled all the way through and thankfully we were able to come out with the win. It’s a roller coaster but it is for everyone right now. This is a week to week league. Arkansas took the Aggies to within 3 tonight and scored 42 points. All we can do is keep working and getting better and focus on winning the games in front of us any way we can.
  5. We have to find an offensive line that can protect our QB. We definitely missed Hutson today. Was really hoping for a better performance from Robertson. Hey the DEFENSE showed up big time. We do need some work falling on a fumble apparently lol. Hook’em!
  6. They know the Arkansas game will be over by 6 anyway they’ll move that one to the ocho lol
  7. The way college football is going you have to schedule out of conference games with out power 4 conferences. Going to the NFL model means playing serious competition every week and losses mean less than they have previously. It’ll be a tougher schedule but ultimately better product and for development IMHO. Unlike the NFL hopefully the travel and home rosters can expand to accommodate for injuries and keeping players healthier overall.
  8. @Gerry Hamilton and I have that in common! My wife has turned me into a bravophile, and honestly I’m not mad about it hahaha
  9. Haha and all mayo, corndog, Aggie, and chik-fil-a related questions go to @Gerry Hamilton Amirite @Joe Zura. All meme related response questions also go to @Joe Zura
  10. For sure and hopefully see Nick Brooks take another positive development step!
  11. Would love to see them start strong both halves even if it just looks like really committing to establishing a strong line of scrimmage! Loved the corrections the line made to eliminate the penalties and start being able to okay balanced ball and actually get off the ball in the running game!

  13. I agree, why leave a good thing at ND?
  14. You know @Joe Zura was gonna be on that like white on rice haha
  15. Sad to see him leave. He was a good contributor at times. Unfortunate he wont be able to fit into the plans here at Texas. Hoping he goes somewhere and has tons of success…as long as it’s not against us.
  16. Sam Houston State is looking hard at this one y’all
  17. well they better hope their line learns how to block or it’s gonna be an even longer day than it was for them against us.
  18. Come on, who wouldn’t want to move to Norman, OK where the beer flows like wine and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano? Florida=Hurricanes, PSU=8 months of winter, LA=California/beach (yuck). Oklahoma has everything, scorching summers, dust storms, tornadoes, blizzards, ice storms, and plains as fur as the eye can see!
  19. Wish I were able to be back in the bluegrass state for this one!! Y’all enjoy Hook’em!!
  20. Yup, hubris at its finest. Someone f’ed up allowing that kid to play and it’s all in Burnt Vegetables. He’s the head coach gotta be smarter than that.
  21. Wisner on offense definitely with Arch not far behind. Defense I agree with Manny, having him back made a huge difference and allowed our secondary to play together like they’re used to doing. Also gotta give a nod to Kanu and Simmons. Collin was a beast and loved seeing him get on the board with 2.5 sacks! Niblett for SP. even though he missed 2 fg I liked what I saw out of Shipley. Missing 2 from 55&56 yards is excusable imo but it shows me that there’s life there when needed down the stretch. The doink was soooo close and the 56 yarder was at least on line just a little more leg. Certainly more consistent that Bert last year.
  22. Lexington at night, gotta bring it abd focusing on getting in rhythm offensively and defensively. Even though they’re not great we all know they play hard and the Stoops’ love to mess with Texas…
  23. Hope so, and hope he saw freshmen getting meaningful snaps at key positions and key game moments. Think about Cooper, Baxter, Simon, Gibson, Clark, and maybe Wisner all in the same position room together next year. Just roll out waves of rb talent at teams!
