  1. I don't have a link, but it is my understanding Kenneth Sims passed away last night. I had the pleasure of meeting Kenneth a couple of times over the years. My brain seems to remember each time being at Scholtz Beer Garten; but part of me thinks that is wrong and it was at a tailgate. Too long ago for me to remember where. But while I didn't have long conversations with him, I do remember he was witty, funny, and just a super nice guy. Seemed to be the kind of guy people gravitated towards. Also, he had the biggest hands on a human that I've ever seen in person. RIP Kenneth.
  2. Fantastic interview.
  3. Not a fan. It’s Biggio in the OF part 2. Also, I think we’re going to see more opponents trying to stretch a single to a double this season.
  4. How do we get an extra pick?
  5. Your team has to stop getting hurt…
  6. Quick; someone insert the I don’t believe you meme. @Joe Zura
  7. Disturbing to me any UT fan would answer no to question #2
  8. I must've missed it. What happened?
  9. Missed a C&F golden moment by not asking Tony his thoughts on Cam Newton's comments about Sark's culture.
  10. Agree with what Marathon just wrote. Looking forward to the next OTB.
  11. Wow. Do we really have a legit chance?
  12. The one outside downtown is the only Lankfords I've been to. Outdoor seating. There was also a place called Christian's Tailgate that also made a mean burger. Not sure if that place is still around.
  13. Fantastic burger! It's been a minute since I've been there. Last time I was there, the Astros front office workers were eating there, including Drayton McLane and Hunsicker. It was at a for real grocery store that had a pretty good sized sit-down eating area at the deli. I want to say it was Whole Foods or a Central Market...and I think it was off the West Loop in Bellaire area or maybe inner loop off 59/69. It was around 20+ years ago. Lots of Astros discussion was also had at these lunches. I remember being there the day after Albert Pujols launched a small spherical object into Earth's outmost atmosphere during the playoffs for a walk-off. I want to say it was off Lidge. There were some guys at these lunches that were plugged in with Mack.
  14. I made 2 or 3 a month for about 2-3 years until I changed jobs. Good times.
  15. I remember the Houston lunch bunch at a grocery store deli…
  16. I really enjoyed watching/listening to this
  17. nobody likes a bragger...
  18. Fashionably late. 3 months away from my 1-year badge.
  19. Randomly met Bobby about 10-12 years ago in New Orleans, during Mardi Gras season. (Of all places). We enjoyed several days of parades along Canal St together. Grizzly bear of a guy. And a gentle giant. Fond memory. RIP Bobby.
