    Not new but: my grandpa took me to the 91 cotton bowl. Miami beat the brakes off of us. He owned the feed store and fertilizer distributorship in our east Texas town. By all accounts we should be Aggies and most of his customers were full blown Ags. When our guys ran out of the tunnel in the cotton bowl, he looked at me and said,” Don’t get better than this.” I was hooked then and there then got both my undergrad and grad degree from McCombs. I Miss him everyday and glad he took me to that game.

    Minor quibble. The way you are pronouncing Lafayette is how the onion Indiana is pronounced. Lafayette, LA is pronounced: laf-e-ette laffy-ette or Laughy-ette
