  2. This is a little bit of a giveaway. The winner gets a free month of an OTF.com subscription. The contest is open to subscribers and non-subscribers alike. If you're already an OG, we'll add a free month on to the end of your current subscription. If you're not a subscriber, we'll get you a free month. So here it goes. This is a straight score prediction. The person closest to the final score, picking the winner and final score, wins a free month. If there are two similar scores, the person who entered first on this thread is the winner. Entries close before kickoff. Winner also gets bragging rights for a week! 🙂 Let's hear 'em!
  3. Michigan and Eastern Michigan have changed their previously scheduled 2027 meeting to Sept. 11, leaving the Wolverines' trip to Austin, which had been scheduled for the same date, in flux. Steve Sarkisian cleared things up on the SEC teleconference on Wednesday. "I know we're playing Michigan," Sark said. "I just don't know exactly when." The new college football schedule, starting in 2027, will be moved up by a week, so what we know as Week 0 this year, will be Week 1 next season. This will allow flexibility for date changes. So far there's no word on when Michigan's visit to Texas, Part II of the home-and-home that started with the Longhorns visiting Ann Arbor in 2024, will take place.
  4. After 39 years at Texas, Chris Plonsky is retiring at the end of the 2026-27 academic year from her role as Chief of Staff/Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator. At Texas she's served as Women's Sports SID, Associate Athletics Director for External Services, Senior Associate AD for Men’s and Women’s Athletics, and Director of Women’s Athletics (while still maintaining critical responsibilities in Men’s Athletics). “CP is an absolute rock star. She’s a legend who has poured her heart and soul into The University of Texas and our athletics department for four decades,” Chris Del Conte said. “She’s a trailblazer who advocated for the advancement of women’s sports while also having a huge impact on our men’s sports programs and helping our athletics department grow into one of the most powerful brands in the world. She has worn many hats, served in virtually every role possible and worked with so many legendary figures on our great campus, but at the end of the day, she has always remained steadfast in putting our student-athletes first and foremost in everything she does. Her passion, pride and dedication to the Longhorn family, our student-athletes and coaches, and The University of Texas are unmatched.” “The success we’ve had across the board in all sports — from conference championships and national championships to Olympic and World champions — is in part a tribute to all she has done to support our student-athletes, coaches and programs. She’s a tireless worker and an incredible servant leader, and though she’s retiring from her current role with us at the end of this academic year, we’re thrilled she’ll be moving into a position that will allow her to continue to have a significant role working with our athletics department going forward. We’ll take this year to celebrate all she’s done in her current role and the many roles that came before it, but we’re so fortunate she’ll continue to be a part of Texas Athletics — a place she has meant so much to and been such a huge part of for a long, long time.”

  6. 40-yard carry on a 3rd and 19.
  7. They've handed it to Roberts early and often. Hasn't broken anything yet.
  8. Got rolled up on in the scrimmage and they sat him as a precaution. He did play on the game winning drive. He'll he back full-go next week.
  9. For the time being with the hopes they can then go after teams that do it once they (the SEC) wins in court.
