Sark will start Arch against Ole Miss and he will play well with the script. After the script is where he'll fall apart. Will Echols will kill Connor Robertson and Brandon Baker and we'll be missing our best player on the team so we'll see if the pass rush will ever get home against the uber talented Chambliss.

Flood has got to go. Flood can develop Tackles but jesus christ that interior line sucks since we've been in the SEC and their fluidity is non existent. Banks has got to go or at least let him focus only on special teams or TEs, one or the other. Sark has got to get an OC PLAYCALLER and an O LINE coach and start anew. We go from looking like one of the best OLine units in the nation to dog sh*t once we start playing SEC teams. Late eyes, missed assignments, getting out physicalled at the point of attack, I mean that is embarrassing. A good OLine will alleviate the majority of our issues on offense. FLOOD HAS GOT TO GO. Get someone that can get this unit to gel work consistently against SEC TEAMS. I full heartedly believe that if Sark gets rid of his longtime friends and hires winners he can continue to be the HC and playcaller. When the Oline doesn't help and your QB is either horribly coached or suddenly inept you will continue to lose against the rest of the schedule.

1st HALF: WR screens or QB designed runs on Cam Coleman's side NO MORE... WAY TOO WEAK at the point of attack when trying to block. We ran the ball the best in 11 personnelle and Nick Townsend is the best blocking TE on the team. Fade route to Cam Coleman to end the half instead of a back shoulder front pylon throw is reminiscent of AD and Quinn against Washington smh. 2nd HALF: If we want to run wide receiver screens we need a TE out wide not Cam Coleman (exhibit A is first play of the second half) --> could be a tell to the Defense though. Venables called the blitz and Sark with the interesting playcall of not having a single crosser or anybody running in the middle of the field or a hot outlet/check down (raleek was blocking). Everyone is covered tight, Arch has a lineman pressing and goes for the throw to Townsend who was behind the first down marker and well covered instead of juking that big ol D-lineman and pickin up the 1st down with his feet. Drive stalled when OU showed blitz from 2nd and 4 and we still ran it and lost 5 yards. --> leads to the 4th and 2 decision to kick it by Sark. Eighth DRIVE (3:49:50) ARCH 2nd PICK. On the interception, Sark's play had no receiver crossing the middle when when the defense SHOWED BLITZ (recurring theme). THEY BLITZED! no options but COLEMAN who had poor separation + throw under duress INSIDE instead of to the BOUNDARY. Nail in the coffin. Theme: OUTphysicalled, inconsistent QB play, David Stone wrecked out interior, costly penalties. I think Derrick Cooper and Nick Townsend got reinjured because they weren't featured much of the second half. -- During all those consecutive 3 and outs the camera panned to Arch on the sideline with Connor Robertson and they were smiling and laughing enjoying the product they've been displaying. Then he wasn't so happy at the end after throwing the nail in the coffin INT. I love the kid but he isn't playing as inspired as he was last season from the Mississippi State game and on. -- Sark didn't have a bad day but he had bad moments and those showed when we had ZERO answers to the blitz and how we COULD NOT read it or pick up on it is mind blowing.

Great read Jeff, hope to start off fast and hopefully Mateer can gift us one of those glorious TOs like the one against Georgia. OUs o-line will not be able to withstand the pressure of our D-line but I hope the right side of our Oline has a much better day than they did against Tennessee.
