    For those of you not in the Austin area, there's a is and excitement around Texas that I don't think I've experienced in my lifetime. The crazy part is that it's not just around the football team. I watched the game at Cheba Hut if your not familiar with that restaurant let's just say it's a sub restaurant with a real hippie vibe, not the crowd you'd expect to see watching a softball game. That restaurant was full of Burnt Orange, luckily I got there early enough to get a seat at the bar, because every strikeout Kavan tossed some guy was buying our crowd beers. I'm only 165 so yeah I'm a little tipsy 🤪

    I feel you. Growing up Memorial Day was more of a family gathering and a day my mom could get a deal on furniture or whatever. It wasn't until I deployed to OIF, OIF3, and OEF that I was truly able to grasp the meaning of Memorial Day🤘🏿

    We have to talk about the softball team. What a series, Texas was literally one run better and that's not just the game, but the whole series.

    Texas doesn't match up well against all of these teams, but all of these teams don't match up well against Texas either. With the expansion of the playoffs, you don't need the best roster ( although it makes it a lot easier). What you need most is for a team that you don't match up with to get knocked out before you. The CFP, hopefully will become like March Madness and invoke a little drama into the equation other than who got in and who didn't.

    Yeah but did you account for going 0-19 in the SEC is still better than anything Texas does in the Big 12?

    I miss living in Georgia. After getting out the military at Fort Benning, I bought a house in Villa Rica. The high-school football wasn't as intense there as it is in Texas, but boy do they have talent all over that state.

    😅 that's the first time I've ever heard the game called STQ, we've always called it throw up tackle. Ha... you learn something new everyday.
