    This is significant. Sorsby clearly tried to evade surveillance. Either from law enforcement or the NCAA. This shows that he understood what he was doing was wrong but went out of his way to do it anyway and try to hide his violations. Also sending large amounts of money to friends and family solely for the purpose of violating laws and evading law enforcement (if that’s what he was doing) could be a significant federal financial crime.

However, as the two biggest revenue generators, the SEC and Big Ten would need to participate in the pooling of rights for projected media values to “work,” Cruz acknowledges. The other conferences must “negotiate” with the two conferences in striking “an agreement that would be attractive to them” to garner their inclusion. This makes it sound voluntary.

    All of college football has to seriously question tech’s ethics and integrity. They quoted everything they could from the NCAA except the actual rule that he obviously violated. They clearly spent a lot of time and resources crafting their strategy and response. Makes you wonder when tech knew about these gambling problems and if they tried to cover it up before this hit the news. Now you have to ask questions like that about tech.
