    @Jeff Howe Have you heard anything about bowl tv ratings in the last couple of years? I haven’t watched many bowl games at all recently, even the marquee matchups. They’re no better for viewers than preseason games with starters on the bench. I have to think the bowl game money well will start running dry.

If instead, Texas ran up the score that would look better?! Also, nice job of cherry-picking games to fit your narrative. He picks the Vandy game but ignores the Texas and bama games against ou which is definitely tilted in Texas favor.

    Cal definitely. I went to a game there against USC when both teams were good and the stadium was half empty. Everybody in Berkeley is too busy humping trees to care about football.
