  1. You needed to try Pecan Lodge 10 years ago for the true experience of what it was. Has been bad for at least 5+ years now Coopers is absolutely garbage, avoid Luling City Market is still great for the sausage and mustard bbq sauce and good for ribs. Snows is still top notch
  2. Those were some dark days for Texas football haha
  3. 2013: Greg Daniels - 3 catches, 28 yards Geoff Swaim - 3 catches, 14 yards 2014: MJ McFarland - 11 catches, 53 yards, 2 TDs Geoff Swaim - 10 catches, 70 yards, 1 TD Pretty much Geoff, as well as our blocking TE.
  4. There is a place in the NFL on every roster for tight ends who can block well.
  5. Will TexAgs be able to redirect the flight again?
  6. What's the most recent OV list?
  7. Geoff Swaim is having a long NFL career and he hardly caught passes at Texas.
  8. I was giving you the benefit!
  9. @Jarveaux is like 72 and has never seen one either!
  10. In before this ends up like their baseball coach search and football coach search went.
  11. There or Auburn makes a lot of sense.
  12. "Fair market value" is great theoretically but you can't tell people or dictate a players value, SCOTUS already said that. If Donor X thinks that Player Y at his school Z is worth 2 million dollar NIL deal there is no way they tell that player he cannot get the deal because "fair market value"
  13. We are planning to rotate guys a lot this season due to length of season including playoff and CCG. You can never have too much quality depth especially at the most critical to success position on defense, pass rusher.
  14. The plan would be to destroy opposing QBs and have ultimate pass rushing depth.
  15. I think Texas of all the schools you list has the best job to jump up in status. Kind of crazy how UCONN was before 1999....and I look at them as something Texas should strive for in basketball. Your run always has to start somewhere and I think with Texas resources and this era once we get our first we could eventually rip off some titles over the course of the next decade or two. UCONN before 1st title: E8 - 1964, 1990, 1995, 1998 S16 - 1951, 1956, 1964, 1976, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995, 1996*, 1998, Texas FF - 1943, 1947, 2003 E8 - 1939, 1943, 1947, 1990, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2023 S16 - 1960, 1963, 1972, 1990, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2023 Kind of crazy how they look when you put perspective.
  16. Okay but I'm still glad we will forever have this picture engrained in Texas/Texas A&M lore.
  17. Maybe that's why he's coming back? lol
  18. The best part of some of these coaches who complain, especially Saban is how hypocritical he is in doing so. He had been paying players for decades but now that everyone else is and the price went up so he methods aren't as effective he complains.
  19. There isn't much you can do about it because college athletics rotates around the academic calendar and those enrollment dates. Legends have to retire so new legends can be born. It's a fact of sports. It's absolutely comical to see Texas fans complaining about NIL and portal when it has literally been a overwhelmingly net positive for us and our athletic program. Unless you prefer the days where teams were buying every player with bags and we were at a severe disadvantage.
  20. All due respect to him but he can move on. No way you can go into next season with what we have in roster at that position considering the games he cost us and almost cost us.
  21. I think for the GM role he should target a front office type guy instead of a recruiting type guy for the specific role.
  22. Congrats for being a piece of crap I suppose. I'm done with this conversation.
  23. Yeah I guess police taking photos of the victim and and noting they saw visible marks from the assault is nothing. Got it. You're pathetic
