    Terry comes into a much better coaching situation and program situation than Collin’s did. In my opinion you can’t really judge off of that.

    Being a top level career backup in the NFL is a lucrative job and flat out easiest job in the league. Chase Daniel earned 41 million dollars being that guy, Chad Henne earned 38 million, and Colt earned over 26 million.

    I agree and I've all been for younger coach push. I want our next coach to be here for 5-15 years at least and his next job be NBA HC. That means we got us a dang good one.

    Sure so long as their collegiate resume is as good as Fews. Should be go after Pops?

    Why? Mark Few is better than every other coach in the history of our program. I think he's maxed out Gonzaga and may want to get his shot a ring. Texas isn't a complete rebuild and it doesn't take 3-4 years to turn around a basketball team in this era. He is old(62) but we could get him for 6-8 years that would be good to jump start what we want our program to be.

    I dislike it because the mesh of Longhorn fans and Cowboys fan. The best thing for Quinn to do be a backup and work for two years, get his body completely right and put some weight on. Any hint of a Dak mistake or bad game would send all the Longhorn Cowboy's fans calling for Quinn to start.

    NBA coach hasn't coached in college in nearly 20 years, so yeah that's a huge negative. One is at the beginning of his career while the other is near retirement.

    Otz or McCollum would be a good hire for Texas. McCollum is so interesting to me because his championship winning background. It’s a trait you want to see when hiring a coach. We could get him and have for for as long as we wanted if he hits and does well. Only chance we’d lose him in that scenario of to NBA
