  1. So you’re going to disregard everyone else FSU hit on that got them to be undefeated last year and a Jordan Travis injury away from a playoff?
  2. Only 3 touchdowns given up all season is wild. With one being essentially garbage time touchdown from Michigan. They called every ticky-tack holding on us but on their lone touchdown they just swallowed the whistle while Broughton was Blatantly held. i agree run defense is going to be fine. We clamp down when we need to and after adjustments. I think a bigger issue for us that will come up is fast QBs who can run.
  3. No you idiot. They were doing all the leg work behind the scenes and Ketch opened his mouth about it and USC came in with an offer and ruined the talk.
  4. Any word on if Jaylen Waddle is going to flip or Jaxon Smith-Njigba is going to portal to Texas? I kid I kid....
  5. No, you misunderstand….Ketch messed it up because he put it out there because he heard it from elsewhere.
  6. He was getting pursued behind the scenes by staff until Ketch put it out in public.
  7. He’s not worth the effort no matter how good he is. He’s a giant waste of talent…and this further proves that along with his 6 schools in 7 years.
  8. I never understood why we were even remotely interested in this giant walking red flag. So glad Ketch actually used his stupidity and ruined it for the right player.
  9. This is hilariously bad for both sides of this....good lord.
  10. He's basically a single-wing fullback.
  11. This is very interesting, especially the last paragraph.
  12. One like this with "OTF" in large letters would be sick!
  13. Obligatory, don't let her leave without committing.
  14. Stoops owned Mack due to mental makeup. Mack was kind of a coward until after the OU game...everything scared him to death especially playing younger talented players. Then after the OU game Mack would make changes or allow more PT for younger players and that IMO is why Stoops owned him the way he did. Sark 100% has to flip this script for this game because for 2 of the last 4 years Texas has had the better roster. Last year was pretty inexcusable IMO from Sark and this team.
  15. To be fair Bob Stoops is a much better coach than Mack Brown was and those results show.
  16. When I was quickly going through this I realized I had wrong year for the 1v2 Ohio St game and that I was missing the 1978 Houston game. Those have been added. 2019: 9 Texas vs 6 LSU 2008: 1 Texas vs 6 Oklahoma St 2006: 2 Texas vs 1 Ohio St 2005: 2 Texas vs 10 Texas Tech 1996: 6 Texas vs 9 Notre Dame 1980: 10 Texas vs 6 Arkansas 1978: 8 Texas vs 3 Arkansas 1978 - 6 Texas vs 8 Houston 1970: 1 Texas vs 4 Arkansas 1964: 1 Texas vs 8 Arkansas 1962: 1 Texas vs 7 Arkansas 1950: 7 Texas vs 1 SMU 1949: 10 Texas vs 9 Rice And to follow up here are some games that were just outside of the top 10 2012 - 11 Texas vs 8 West Virginia 2008 - 1 Texas vs 11 Missouri 1984 - 4 Texas vs 11 Auburn 1982 - 12 Texas vs 6 Arkansas 1968 - 4 Texas vs 11 Houston 1968 - 11 Texas vs 13 SMU 1951 - 11 Texas vs 6 Kentucky Biggest road games in program history using similar criteria from above(Excludes neutral site games): 2024 - 3 Texas at 10 Michigan 2023 - 11 Texas at 3 Alabama 2008 - 1 Texas at 6 Texas Tech 2005 - 2 Texas at 4 Ohio St 1984 - 10 Texas at 12 TCU 1983 - 3 Texas at 5 Auburn 1983 - 2 Texas at 9 SMU 1981 - 10 Texas at 8 SMU 1979 - 4 Texas at 5 Missouri 1979 - 2 Texas at 10 Arkansas 1979 - 8 Texas at 5 Houston 1977 - 2 Texas at 8 Arkansas 1977 - 1 Texas at 12 A&M 1975 - 5 Texas at 2 A&M 1969 - 1 Texas at 2 Arkansas 1967 - 5 Texas at 4 USC 1965 - 1 Texas at 3 Arkansas 1961 - 3 Texas at 10 Arkansas 1959 - 3 Texas at 12 Arkansas 1954 - 4 Texas at 2 Notre Dame 1947 - 3 Texas at 8 SMU 1941 - 10 Texas at 2 A&M
  17. Correct, we were 14 at the time of that game.
  18. I'll go year by year but I'm also only listing top 10 matchups for this. Assuming 2024 Georgia/Texas being a 1/2 matchup or a top 5 matchup that will be the most recent. 2019: 9 Texas vs 6 LSU 2008: 1 Texas vs 6 Oklahoma St 2007: 2 Texas vs 1 Ohio St 2005: 2 Texas vs 10 Texas Tech 1996: 6 Texas vs 9 Notre Dame 1980: 10 Texas vs 6 Arkansas 1978: 8 Texas vs 3 Arkansas 1970: 1 Texas vs 4 Arkansas 1964: 1 Texas vs 8 Arkansas 1962: 1 Texas vs 7 Arkansas 1950: 7 Texas vs 1 SMU 1949: 10 Texas vs 9 Rice Once you get to the early 1930s and 1920s it gets harder to find information but the above according to my quick research are the biggest games played in DKR history involving two top 10 rankings. There were a handful or more games with either Texas or the opponent ranked 11th. 1984 Texas vs Penn St a 1v4 matchup was a neutral site game.
  19. Texas just got flat out beat in this recruitment and it wasn't because of NIL.
  20. It's absolutely wild that they made Dillon Gabriel walk to go all in with large NIL package included on Jackson Arnold to bench him this soon. Just poor poor coaching decisions.
  21. I think Texas is saving budget for interior portal DL
  22. Correct. Bye bye Sydir
  23. It’s more than just NIL. Move on from Moore it’s over and not going to happen
  24. Elly De La Cruz is 6'5 200 lbs so that should be even more impressive. Last two years after Covid: 2022 - 6 players with 30+ stolen bases, 1 with 40+ 2021 - 6 players with 30+ stolen bases, 2 with 40+ Rule changes implemented 2023 - 18 players with 30+ stolen bases, 6 with 40+, 3 with 50+, 2 with 60+, 1 with 70+ 2024 - 19 players with 30+ stolen bases, 4 with 40+, 2 with 50+, 1 with 60+ -- Still games remaining so this could incresae as there is 5 players with 29, 1 with 39, and 2 that are mid 40s. It's obvious that the rule changes have made 50 the new 40. The real impressive number to look forward to is 60+ stolen bases.
