  1. Awesome @Hashtag. 😂🤣 Love it! Will say it again. Coach Schloss definitely hit a HOMERUN when he hired Troy Tulowitzki to return as our hitting coach.
  2. Gonna be fun and interesting to see how far the Horns can go this season. Coaching and recruiting absolutely make all the difference. Just look at A&M implosion over the past month. There’s no lack of talent in college station.
  3. @Bobby Burton hope you’re able to have Coach Bowman on OTF Coffee & Football or on The Saturday Morning interview in the near future. Hook em! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  4. Great interview with Coach Bowman after the Longhorns won the natty. https://swimswam.com/bob-bowman-reflects-on-2nd-ncaa-title-in-two-years-im-actually-going-to-get-to-celebrate/ Hook em! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  5. Unbelievable accomplishment! CDC outdid himself with this hire last year. Congrats Coach Bob Bowman and The Longhorn Men’s Swimming & Diving Team! First men’s coach to win back-to-back national titles in swimming/diving at 2 different universities. Hook em! 🤘🏼🐂🧡 https://www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/news/bob-bowman-becomes-first-mens-coach-to-win-consecutive-national-titles-at-different-schools/

  7. After today’s double header sweep, the Hotns have scored 204 runs through 26 games. 7.85 runs per game. Offense is cooking.
  8. Great sweep by the Horns!!
  9. Game 3 going much better. Top of the 9th leading 7-1. Let’s go Horns.
  10. Top of 8th, Texas still leading 6-4
  11. Grubbs clutch with 2 straight scoreless innings.
  12. 3 straight outs by Horns in top of 6th, on to bottom of the 6th with Mizzou back at the plate.
  13. Watching Sweet 16 on main TV with baseball game on iPad. Didn’t see any other thread on today’s baseball game. Texas leading 6-4 in tight game 2 but Mizzou had 2 men on base with no outs in bottom of 5th when reliever Max Grubbs came in to take over. 2 outs and wild pitch advanced runners to 2nd and 3rd. Clutch 3rd out on strikeout. Through 5 innings, Texas leading 6-4. Grubbs had ice in veins with 3 straight strikeouts. Hook em! 🤘🏼🐂🧡
  14. Agree. Awesome to see both teams’ trajectories change so quickly. CDC has Horns athletics at all-time high performance across all sports while Trev Albert’s’ arrogant low trust cost cutting approach has A&M heading in wrong direction overall with poor initial hires, especially baseball.
  15. Agree. Several other QBs should come ahead of Baker, most notably VY.
  16. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/texas-sports-nation/college/article/troy-tulowitzki-returns-to-texas-19547975.php Texas Longhorns are playing tremendous baseball and Coach Schlossnagle deserves a ton of credit for the faster than expected turnaround. Not only has it been fun to watch A&M struggle this season under Michael Early….. Looking back, it seems that Coach Schloss hiring Troy Tulowitzki as the Horns hitting coach has turned out to be a great thing for Texas. The other side story referenced above re: the Aggies hiring Michael Early in a move of desparation to stop last season's roster from a mass exodus, interesting to see the stats from D1 Baseball that no team has ever dropped from #1 to Unranked in the month of March like the Aggies in 2025. https://www.si.com/college/tamu/baseball/deep-dive-inside-texas-am-aggies-baseball-historic-downfall-2025-season Comparing the Horns and Aggies offensive production this year: Horns: BA .306 SLG .544 OBP .403 HR 42 R 190 Aggies: BA .260 SLG .435 OBP .370 HR 31 R 162 From everything I've read, it sounds like Troy is extremely popular with all the players on the team, dating back to when he worked as an unpaid volunteer assistant hitting / infield coach for several seasons previously, following his impressive career in the majors. Would be great to get perspective from @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe or @Blake Munroe if you have much insight about Troy Tulowitzki's approach to coaching and developing our hitters and how he's had an impact overall on the Texas Longhorns baseball team, bringing all his experience from the majors. If there are other members in the OTF family who know Coach Tulowitzki, please add to the discussion. Seems like a great story and Troy appears to be a coach we want to be with the Longhorns for a very long time if possible. Thanks and Hook em!! 🤘🏼🐂 🧡
  17. @Blake Munroe, you are killing it in the OTF Bracket. 2nd place through 40 games!! Do you and @CJ Vogel have a side bet? Hook em! 🤘🏼🐂🧡
  18. https://www.espn.com/college-football/insider/story/_/id/39584775 Curious what others think about the updated rankings of Top 90 QBs over past 25 years. No real changes at the top. A couple of things that stood out when looking at the ilst. 1) Wow, forget how crazy Case Keenum's stats were when he threw for 5000 yards and 40 TDs in 3 consecutive seasons with 19,217 total yards completed and 69% completion rate. That's 2000 yards more than any other QB in history. Art Briles had that offense humming before he jumped to Baylor. 2) Hoping Arch outperforms his Uncle Eli who threw for 10,119 yars, 81 TDs, 35 INTs and 61% completion rate. 3) How is Eric Crouch at #50 among all QBs with only 4481 yds passing, 29 TDs, 25 INTs and only 52% completion rate. Clearly the 3434 rushing yards and 59 rushing TDs outweighed his far below average arm. Hard to compare running QBs to pure passers side by side. 4) Looking back through the list, there have been some really fun seasons with incredible QB play. Even though I root against many of these teams, these QBs were impressive for what they did on the field. Joe Burrow (#5), Deshaun Watson (#6), Lamar Jackson (#8), Trevor Lawrence (#11), Manziel (#13), Matt Leinart (#17), Bryce Young (#20)
  19. Well said and I agree completely @Drunk randoke. The other sites (including their video reports) are a distant second. Hook em! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  20. Agree CJ. Even though football is the primary focus, I’m enjoying the increased OTF coverage on baseball especially with the way they’re playing. Hook em! 🤘🏼🧡🐂
  21. So many exciting things happening on the 40 acres right now between spring football starting, pro day, women's basketball in the sweet 16, baseball is crushing it, excitement with the men's basketball upgrade in coaching, basketball and football recruiting / portal this spring, women's softball, the list goes on. Even though football season is 5 months away, you guys seem busier than ever. Much love, respect and appreciation to @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe @Blake Munroe @Rod Babers @Bob Shipley for all the great work to not only bring us your unique insights and breaking news about our Texas Longhorns, but the way you all do it with class, credibility, authenticity, passion and optimism while keeping it real and making it fun is AWESOME. I try to start every morning I can with Coffee & Football then enjoy catching other updates throughout each day, both via the YouTube video updates and on the OTF site. I know alot of us feel this way and it hit me this week how much OTF has become a part of my weekly routine. Hard to believe ontexasfootball.come was only started about 16 months ago (Am I remembering correctly, Bobby?) and all of you were working with other sites at that time (not counting the YouTube streaming video platform). Looking forward to seeing what's next on OTF. Keep up the great work!! You've made being a Texas Longhorn Fan even more fun for me and many others. Hoping to get by the OTF tailgate with the family this fall. Hook em! 🐂🤘🏼🧡
