WTF? Texas has been to 7 WCWS and lost 2 of last 3 years to OU (and been overall runner up) yet the pre-game seems scripted for a narrative that TTU as the better team who lost it rather Texas winning game 1??? Even the pre-filmed video on Texas year to highlight the players and their ‘fuel the fire’ story, ESPN had a technical glitch that stopped the video prematurely. They’re using language that Texas Tech and the “Million Dollar Pitcher” will rebound tonight and get the win against Mac Morgan. Then this lovefest with Canaday and Glasco gets even worse a few mins ago….After hearing that Canaday had no experience throwing intentional walk, Glasco just admitted on interview with Holly Rowe that he forgot his ace pitcher hadn’t thrown any intentional walks all year. He fully acknowledged that was a big mistake in his part and ESPN was silent. WTF? ESpN should be roasting Glasco for calling the intentional walk. I hope Texas brings it with Mac tonight and puts it away against the million dollar pitcher. This broadcast is nauseating.

Kavan should also be in that post-game interview with Holly Rowe and Atwood. Kavan has been lethal.

Atwood is an All American for a reason. That was absolutely awesome!! What a decision to hit high in the zone for 2 runs!!! Come on Horns, only 3 more outs!! Bizarre why Canaday was trying to intentionally walk but throwing right over the plate high.

It’s been a great pitcher dual with incredible throw by Atwood for what should have been second out and no one on base. Beyond frustrated with whoever made that idiotic call to overturn call in the field. Even the announcers said it was bad call. F’ing ridiculous.

That run should have never happened. Texas should be batting right now. F’ing BS.

Still trying to understand that call to overturn for obstruction, especially when call on field was an out. Good to hear announcers voice disagreement as well. That was BS. Hope we get out of this inning with no damage.

ESPN in a lovefest with Texas Tech tonight. All their color on Glasco, the praise for his past as a ‘softball dad’ , his creative ways to get runs, Canaday and her dominance, the photos of all the red raiders as younger players, etc. Come on ESPN, let’s give more love to the Horns and Mike White. Good to see Kavan settle down after the first inning.
