  1. Still trying to understand that call to overturn for obstruction, especially when call on field was an out. Good to hear announcers voice disagreement as well. That was BS. Hope we get out of this inning with no damage.
  2. That obstruction call was complete BS!!! Very frustrating.
  3. i posted this article yesterday morning about the Sellers investment in transforming TTU softball. Got to give them credit for going big. https://apple.news/AnfD1QtwrTAme6i_1Mjom9A
  4. ESPN in a lovefest with Texas Tech tonight. All their color on Glasco, the praise for his past as a ‘softball dad’ , his creative ways to get runs, Canaday and her dominance, the photos of all the red raiders as younger players, etc. Come on ESPN, let’s give more love to the Horns and Mike White. Good to see Kavan settle down after the first inning.
  5. Agree. Gotta respect the ‘do whatever it takes’ approach. It worked. Now, Kavan and the Horns get to stop their dream season,
  6. Excited to see this matchup! Gonna be fun to watch Kavan and the Horns bring their best. Hook em! 🐂🧡🤘🏼
  7. Kavan, Mitchell, Atwood and the Lady Longhorns are ready to win their first World Series! Longhorns are 3-0 against Canaday over past 2 seasons! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  8. NiJaree Canaday and her $1mil NIL funded by the Sellers as well as other major investments in the Tech softball program will be going up against the Lady Longhorns tomorrow!! Interesting article from last July with more details on how 2 Texas Tech alumni and major boosters made record setting investments to get into this years CWS. https://apple.news/AnfD1QtwrTAme6i_1Mjom9A
  9. In the Women's College World Series (WCWS) finals, 79% of the teams that have won the championship series also won Game 1. Texas and Kavan need to bring their best and win game 1!! Hook em! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  10. Agree. I like the 400 acres reference. Impressive for the Lady Longhorns to have 4 batters over .400
  11. Love it! Kavan has been en fuego 🔥 in the playoffs!! Great interview with Mitchell on OTF after she hit the 2 home runs last week. Mitchell talked about how great the chemistry and communication is. This team is special.
  12. Great Agree. Great regular season. Look forward to seeing how Schloss builds the team for 2026. Now it’s time for Texas Women’s Softball to bring their best against Tennessee tomorrow. 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  13. Wow, outscored 15-2 by UTSA since the 4th inning of game 1. 😳 The really good news from the way things are going down the stretch, Schloss is going to be extra motivated to strengthen all parts of the offense, defense and pitching through the portal. 2026 team should be solid. 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  14. Still processing last night. I can only imagine what our team is feeling this morning. Sucks to lose that way. Couple of thoughts on the morning after… 1) I can’t recall another game all year with that many compounding mistakes in the field combined with stranding 10 runners on base. 2) It would be one things if we got beat playing our best and the other team simply played better. This stings more because much of the loss felt self inflicted due to poor execution. Hats off to UTSA for grinding after we took the 6-1 lead but we shot ourselves in the foot last night. How will we respond in the elimination game against KSU? 3) Hard to believe how well the Horns have played all season when you look at the team’s individual performances. Statistically, our Horns have been middle of the conference for much of the season. Hitting, fielding, pitching. Our team is largely the same as last season. For a few of our hitters, their numbers have actually regressed this season which is a bit troubling. 4) The most impressive (and surprising) part of the team imo is our shut-down freshman closer Dylan Volantis. He’s been a lot of fun to watch. Excited to see his career progress on the 40 acres. What’s not surprising is that we’ve struggled as a team ever since Jared Spencer went down with the season ending shoulder injury. We don’t have the depth in quality pitching to handle the loss of our #1 starter. This was obvious and when Spencer went down, the probability of a long run into the CWS looked bleak. 5) Flashing back to Sark’s first year, it was painful watching the Horns. Felt like we were going backwards as we endured loss after loss against mediocre opponents. The team was t having fun. The foundation was being set but it takes time. Well Schloss needs time as well just not as much it appears. The immediate future looks really bright with our top recruiting class coming and what’s likely to unfold with the transfer portal. This team has outperformed all expectations through the season, the foundation of winning culture is getting laid and an improved roster with more depth at pitching is on the way. 6) Schloss and the Horns achieved the improbable and unthinkable in winning the SEC conference championship…. in year 1!! Crazy. No one could have predicted. Especially not in the SEC. They kept grinding and winning one series after another. It’s been fun to watch this team pull off the unexpected. Last night doesn’t change that. 7) Hope we rebound against Kansas State with the team that confidently won the SEC so we can get another shot at UTSA. Feel like we have much better baseball left to play this season than what we saw last night; however, our lack of pitching depth is going to be a challenge. Would be fun to see the Horns bounce back. We’ll see if they’ve got it in them or have they run out of gas? Predicting a high scoring game. Either way, this has been a fun gritty team to watch this season with much better seasons ahead as Schloss builds his team for sustaining success. Feels like Schloss and our Horns baseball team is just getting started. Hook em! 🧡🤘🏼🐂

  16. How bout Baker Mayfield while we’re at it, lol? 😂 🤘🏼🐂🧡
  17. @Blake Munroe @CJ Vogel and @Jeff Howe the Lady Longhorns just broke the curse. Beat OU in the World Series for the first time EVER and beat the Sooners in the state of Oklahoma for the first time since 2014!! This deserves a live postgame show by the three of you! Hook em!! 🐂🤘🏼🧡
  18. Unbelievable win for the Lady Longhorns! That was a fun game to watch and Kavan was pitching out of her mind! So good!! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  19. Heard Bobby and CJ discussing on the Saturday morning discussion. 🤘🏼🐂🧡
  20. Trev Alberts is the anti-CDC. Coaches leave his low trust culture as fast as they can find a better spot or in Buzz Williams case, any alternative was better than staying at A&M. Hard to understand the original decision by Alberts in hiring an unproven Michael Early but even harder to understand the decision to retain after he went from #1 in the country with highest NIL of any baseball team in the ncaa to completely left out of the 64-team regionals. https://www.kbtx.com/2025/05/30/texas-am-retain-head-baseball-coach-michael-earley/?outputType=amp
  21. Excellent in depth analysis of Top 5 defensive lines (actually top 6) going into the season. Texas ranked #2 primarily due to our elite edge room starting with Colin Simmons but also Trey Moore and Ethan Burke. He mentions Anthony Hill as the other real threat, all of whom will make the DT job a bit easier. With all the solid DT transfers (failed to recognize Watson), he sees Texas as one of the best defensive lines in the nation and clear #2 in the SEC. Bama, LSU, Florida and Georgia all made the list behind Texas. OU ranked as the dominant and clear #1 best defensive lines in the SEC. https://youtu.be/WuUDw-fZiW8
  22. 🤣😎😳🤣😎😳🧡🤘🏼🐂
  23. Our defensive line in 2026 is shaping up to be really special (and scary for opposing offenses) with Colin Simmons, Maraad Watson, Colton Vasek and Alex January as juniors and Lance Jackson, Justus Terry, Myron Charles and Josiah Sharma in their second year with the program. Holy $&?@. Then it’s a bonus if either Lavon Johnson or Hero Kanu can elevate as a rotational DT going into their last year. Exciting times for the DL on the 40 acres!!! Hook em!! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  24. With the way Tre Wisner stepped up last season for nearly 1400 combined yards combined with TW putting on additional healthy weight this offseason, I’m interested to see how Wisner steps up as RB1 going into the season. Sounds like Baxter may not be at full strength till mid-season.
