  1. Yet another example of an ultra-wealthy owner potentially prioritizing a move in this case to Las Vegas, leveraging their oligarchic power at the expense of the local Dallas community and loyal fan base.
  2. Part of the answer lies with the players and coaches at OSU who have no interest in Sark's success 🤷
  3. What an incredible year for the UT roster, staff, and fans—thanks in no small part to OTF. Do I wish it had ended differently? Absolutely. But Maximus’s iconic line from Gladiator, "Are you not entertained?", resonates deeply with me. Onward...
  4. He's such a great communicator that you are exactly right. He'd be a great coach and recruiter but also his media future is pretty darn bright.
  5. "We'll see if Texas of all people is there to defend SEC pride. Part of the whole SEC argument has always been that the crucible of the league is what makes them so good, right? Texas was this good last year. Texas was a final four team as a Big 12 team last year. Being in the SEC didn't make Texas a playoff semifinalist, being Texas made Texas a CFP semi-finalist." –Pat Forde Source- College Football Enquirer podcast
  6. Interesting.
  7. As Texas fans we are used to getting ahead of ourselves so...
  8. Will be interesting to see if he gets out of Austin w/o committing
  9. Blake how about ask B&G about an all portal team from last year entries? Guys who lived up to or exceeded expectations. Of course flops would be interesting too. Cheers from rainy Manhattan.
  10. If "gird your loins" is the OTF catchphrase of recruiting could we set one for the portal, @Gerry Hamilton? Generic quips off the top of my head partnered with, "You better... Grab your helmet Get your head in the game Buckle up, buttercup Put on your game face Any thoughts Coffee & Football faithful? Wrong answers only 😉
  11. Is BEVO not going to College Station this weekend?!? Heard a report that minders are worried about safety! Crazy if true.
  12. The TAM Jalapeño! The jalapeño pepper, a staple of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, is renowned for its fiery heat that brings bold character to any dish. But with the invention of the mild TAM jalapeño, the "geniuses" at Texas A&M stripped the pepper of its defining feature, reducing it to a bland, generic vegetable. This pandering to palates unaccustomed to spice has "Aggie-fied" the food landscape, replacing authentic, spicy jalapeños with dull imitations on grocery store shelves and in restaurants. While the TAM jalapeño may have made the pepper more accessible to white-bread Aggie types, it came at a steep cost: the loss of authenticity, tradition, and the bold personality that made the jalapeño iconic. In this sense, Texas A&M's so-called innovation is not just a betrayal of the jalapeño’s heritage—it’s an affront to the very ethos of Texans everywhere.
  13. Penny for Kyle Flood's thoughts post-game.
  14. Would love to hear how it went at The Hole in Wall last night @Bobby Burton The Hole has been one of the legendary clubs of West campus for decades now. Half surprised it has survived. In full transparency i've drunk a lot of beer and watched tons of bands there but never attended a UT football event. I really wish I could have been there for old times sake. UT class of 1992

  16. Curious if there has been a write up or video I missed. Thanks in advance.
