    Things sped up immediately for Texas and McCutcheon when it came out he was visiting for the Mississippi State game. The Longhorns won him over and of course the play of Florida State has been silently helping the Longhorns here as well. Texas swooped in and got themselves a heck of a WR.

    I definitely agree. Texas passed its first test vs. Michigan, now let’s see the sustained dominance against teams of similar caliber in the trenches.

    Some midseason praise for Kyle Flood's group on the offensive line! The Texas offensive line unit holds the top spot in pass protection efficiency per PFF. Three Longhorns have already received SEC Offensive Linemen of the Week Honors this year as well – Cam Williams, Kelvin Banks and Jake Majors.

    It will get tested against UGA, but it is certainly on the path of becoming a tough place to play. Light years of where it was about 4 years ago.

    Yep! Pretty remarkable stat, Jovantae Barnes is the only other one on either roster with a touch in this game. Barnes had nine touches for 31 yards in 2022's 49–0 win. Remarkable stat nonetheless.

    2026 Waco Connally DB Jamarion Vincent will be at the Texas-Georgia game he tells OTF. Why is this significant? Well, it will be the third game of the season Vincent will have made the trip to Austin for and the fourth time since the end of July he has been on campus after he attended the Pool Bash. Texas is in great standing early on, though at the moment, I am not expecting a decision imminent.
