  5. Hook ‘Em! Texas has earned a commitment from 2025 Fort Bend Marshall CB Caleb Chester following his official visit to Texas last weekend. The Longhorns led for the 6-foot-1 cornerback coming into the weekend and made a strong enough impression on the visit for Chester to shut things down for good. Chester was slated to officially visit Texas A&M and Arkansas over the next two weekends, so for the Longhorns to get him to shut things down was quite the victory. Chester brings great length and athleticism out wide. There is plenty to like on tape and still room for development for the next level. Of course, the addition of Chester to the 2025 class helps the Longhorns with 2026 DB Isaiah Williams and LB Noriel Dominguez as well. Texas is up to 11 commits in the class with two massive official visit weekends slate for the next two weeks as well.

  7. This would break Oklahoma. How much he has been built up for him to leave would be a disaster.
  8. Construction has moved quickly on the scoreboard work at DKR. The video board in the south Endzone is gone and the are is now see through. The back fencing used to dawn an orange backdrop with a white Longhorn logo. That is gone too. Eager to see how quickly this gets done.
  9. I don't hate that fit at all. Might as well go to a good franchise over the early draft pick
  10. Alex Grinch was Riley's coordinator at OU for two years then at USC for these first two seasons, so four consecutive seasons and was an ultimate disaster. Gave Riley his worst teams at Oklahoma and wasn't any better for the Trojans a year ago. This will make a difference.
  11. New DC at USC can sell the promise of an improved system and development. We will see, he's a pretty darn good coach.
  12. 2025 Oaks Christian EDGE Hayden Lowe has committed to USC following his official visit this weekend. Texas was scheduled to receive an official visit June 14-16 and had previously been considered a school to watch in this recruitment. It remains to be seen if that visit will still take place.
  13. Hi Gerry!
  14. Thats part of the official visit bingo card Gerry keeps referencing. Post visit highs are definitely a real thing in the world of recruiting.
  15. Yep. It’s between Texas and FSU, visit went well.
  16. Full interview with Hilson following his official visit this weekend to Texas.
  17. Horns Giving Back – Texas Premier Football Camp and Cole Pittman Golf Tournament will be held next week, June 13–14 in Austin. The event is led by former Longhorn greats Roy Williams, Sloan Thomas and BJ Thomas. The event is set to remember the life of Cole Pittman and all Longhorns who are no longer with us today. Really cool afternoon! Plus, the Longhorns for Longhorns charity will be celebrating 15 years of the event.
