It was Hutson who finished the 4Q.
  3. I really enjoy listening to Kenny Dillingham. He gets it as a coach, I can see how it would be fun to play for him.
  4. Dillingham on the confidence of his players this week: Sam (Leavitt) probably thinks he can beat Michael Jordan, because that is Sam. Skat probably thinks he is the best running back in the country, because that is Skat.
  5. Sarkisian on his seniors: "I don't think any of them forget being in New Orleans at the end of the game last year."
  6. Sarkisian was asked about the biggest example his quarterback showing leadership at some point this season. Points to the 4th & 2 against Arkansas where Ewers pulled an option and ran over a defender for the game-sealing first down. "Probably the emotion coming out of Quinn... was indicative of how much our team values him and how much he wants to win for the team."
  7. Dillingham on QB Sam Leavitt: "Has he exceeded my expectations? Yeah, I would says so."
  8. Sarkisian reiterates the same. Most important player in the system after QB in his system is the tight end.
  9. Dillingham says he spoke with some NFL GMs who believed the 2nd most important piece in an offense similar to his is the tight end.
  10. Sark: No one likes to lose, especially in Austin.
  11. Sark on the benefit of the five newcomers (early enrollees and transfers) working with the team in Atlanta this week. "They are awesome humans. The exposure they are getting to our team and rapport... the biggest advantage is we get to practice with a scout team and not have to do cross over work like we did for the Clemson game."
  12. Sarkisian on the efforts of RB Tre Wisner. "You don't go into Kyle Field and carry it 30-something times that physical and in that environment if you can't handle it."
  13. Sarkisian says he feels good about C Jake Majors and QB Quinn Ewers from a health perspective.
  14. Dillingham says the bounce back in year two is a result of believing in the process and believing in the plan in place. "It may not look good now, but if you stay the course... eventually you will turn the corner."
  15. Sarkisian says a goal over the last month and a half has been to address the running game. "The last month and a half of the season, our balance has been where its needed to be."
  16. Sarkisian says he has known of Coach Dillingham for quite some time from afar. Sark says they have not spent a lot of time. "Maybe after this one we will spend more time together." Sarkisian says laughingly.
  17. Kenny Dillingham: We are going to face one of the best teams if not the best team in the country, coached by arguably the best offensive mind in the game.
  18. Steve Sarkisian: Says the plan has been to stay the course. From week one on August 31 to the SEC CG to the Playoff. Continue to stay the course and prepare the way that Texas has all season long.
