  4. Dekaney has a 2028 slot WR named Trey Finney who already holds a Georgia offer.
  5. Tanook Hines took official visits to Arizona State, USC, Texas, Notre Dame and Baylor in June. Notre Dame had a lot of buzz in this recruitment earlier in the month and it will be tough to top the Irish in the final two weeks before the decision.
  6. Townsend tells me the Longhorns used Ja'Tavion Sanders pretty heavily in their pitch to him while he was on campus. Says he will be coming into college at the size Sanders was playing at in college. Add to the fact Townsend ran 10.9 and you've got yourself quite the tight end.
  7. I spoke with both Tanook Hines and Nick Townsend, they will have a joint press conference/show for their commitments on July 10.
  8. 2026 WR David Edmondson is a wide receiver the staff is very high on. Had to play QB in 2023, but the staff believed he is the next top WR to come out of Dekaney.
  9. Samaritan Cunningham Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18257400/6553ad452aa7050b941e4943
  10. 2026 Dekaney RB Samaritan Cunningham went sub-11 as a sophomore in the 100M. Smaller build but runs with great power and balance. Holds offers from OU, Baylor and Arizona plus three others.
  11. 2026 Dekaney EDGE Calvin Carter. Texas offered June 15. At 6-foot-3, Carter’s quickness is superb and his body still has room to grow.

  13. Made a quick stop at Dekaney High School this morning to catch up with 2025 TE Nick Townsend and 2025 WR Tanook Hines ahead of their July 10 decision date. Both took official visits to Austin this month and the Longhorns are in contention with a decision two weeks out at the moment.
  14. Pretty day in Austin, Texas.
  15. Hopefully! Congrats to Troy.
  16. EA Sports' College Football 25 has released the toughest places to play for the upcoming video game. Darrell K. Royal Texas-Memorial Stadium comes in ranked 19th. Here is the top ten.
  17. We’re in for a banger of a game.
  18. Or re-runs of the 2006 Rose Bowl!
  19. Thank you for making this place so enjoyable to be a part of as well! Love this community we have been building here at OTF and I can’t wait for the upcoming season!
